Although, I will grant that I don’t think those bright green eyes help on the dark tones, need something a little toned down to not blow it out in contrast.

Agreed, also noticed that the dark skin tones for humans looked a bit off with the female’s makeup

I don’t think they took a picture but we saw it briefly in the WoWhead Stream.

We saw Blue Undies and what looks like 2 High Elf versions of the new Blood Elf Hair options.

It’s in the exact same fashion they’ve done for High Elves in the past.

I’m sure they’ll probably be touching up things, think I heard something about a new customization menu that isn’t in yet, maybe there’s some other changes to the models that might effect them that isn’t in the alpha yet.

NPC options, maybe? I doubt Blood Elves would have a choice of blue underwear

I’m hoping we avoid Underwear Customization options for at least bit longer.

They might be going all in on the blue for blood elves… seems weird thematically. I hope they arnt just throwing the book at every new race customization. Some don’t seem reasonable… purple iris for humans? Completely blind in both eyes?

I’ve been here since they blew up when void elves were announced but now it’s just nice to have it done with. It’s not like we told them back then that this was going to be the outcome.

I mean, if only there were multiple developer comments about this, too. Who could have saw this coming?

Yea, it’s already confirmed through data mine that one of the eye options for them is blue eyes. I don’t think they would go back on this, but who knows it’s still alpha.

Do we really know if this is player option? Still very possible this is what has been created for the alliance npcs and other various blue eyed high elf npcs. Jumping to conclusions here.

Some textures appear to be missing, could also be DK eyes as well.

Most likely they already said multiple options will be coming to the existing races. If some races are getting multiple customization like skin color, or war paint, I see no reason why they wouldn’t add more eye options for each race. People have been asking for a way to change their eye option without changing their faces for years. So that is a possibility

Which is why I air on the side of caution. Like I’ve said before, congrats to the players who genuinely want blue eyed blood elves, but I’d wait for anything beyond data mining for confirmation.
