The April fools legion joke was I believe a joke on world of elf craft? Which can be alluded to the two new Elf races they put in game immediately after.

This years April fools directly alluded to High Elves. And giving BE players customizations we’ve always wanted may be a way to appease us before they inevitably add the alluded to HE’s in 10.0… so no it doesn’t detract from the validity of the request.

I also don’t think being sour for BE players new customizations is a good thing. I think one should be happy for others happiness, especially when I think HE’s are very close.

They are definitely adding more High Elf hair options, they have Blue and Silver colored hair ties.

Seems they copied some of the new Blood Elf ones.

Guess the same advice can go to the horde if you want to play a Blue Eyed High Elf model roll Alliance Ren’dorei if it matter thats much to you.

This has been going on since Vanilla. It will never end. As long as people have fond memories of WC2, WotLK and MoP, it will continue. And people will continue to have fond memories of those two expansions long after we stop having fond memories of BFA

(Me, I’m still just in because I hate Void Elves that dang much and will support any allied race that dethrones them as most rolled. -Any- allied race.)

A more equatable position is saying “Oh, you want to be an undead human like Nathanos? Just roll the Alliance”

I was actually disappointed to not see violet eyes.

From what I saw during the Wowhead stream, the Belf eye options just looked to be different shades of gold and green. The “blue eyes” looked wrong, like they didn’t have irises or something. Also I was expecting red eye options, so that was surprising

Given that the most likely source of those is drawing from magical objects I can see why not.

I’m looking back now and it actually looks like they did something unexpected with their eyes. There’s Arcane and Light in the Sunwell now, and it looks like they tried to show all 3 of them in play. That aqua eye option they have looks like the Fel in their bodies was watered down and changed a bit by the Arance in the Well, becoming that green-blue colour.

Blood elves are finally getting their blue eyes back just as Blizzard said they would! I’m so excited!!!

Since they don’t have Heterochromia options like the rest they are still likely either DK Eyes or NPC only options.

And with no white Sclera or Purple Eyes is safe to say they are not getting “High Elf” eyes.
