Nelves or Genn. Inb4 itās another Horde character.
Iām okay with that.
Absolutely! But not the silly priestess, please.
I always liked that about BEās too!
Itās part of the reason why I never went for hunter even being biased to ranged classes. I like the lore of the casters and since BE society embodies everything I relate to personality wise, the fact the warlocks and mages and priests are shown respect I sort of convinced myself I would only play casters, or a Paladin but I think Iād have to heal I dislike melee heh.
I didnāt know they showed deference to rogues too though! I do know when I ask for the Warlock trainer in org they dislike them, but Iām of the opinion since BEās like them the Orgrimmar guards are just of the wrong opinion heh.
Genn also has a bone to pick with her, as do the Worgen. You are correct.
Alas, they will never purge the precious Roadkill Waifu.
And those same people say the Horde got what was coming too them.
They donāt like them because they are āpureā they like them because they like the High Elves moral decisions better than the ones the Blood Elves did.
Youāre going to have to clarify which group of high elves and which moral decisions.
The ones we where just talking aboutā¦
We were just talking about several groups of them, the Exiles or the Silver Covenant?
Are you saying that the Purge was a better moral decision than draining mana from animals, or allying with orcs because theyāre orcs? Those are both pretty bad.
I personally think he has more of a bone to pick with her than anyone else. But thatās probably just me, tbh. Gilneans suffered the exact same fate as the Kaldorei did.
Exactly - Night Elves should have always been savage.
I feel this is where High Elves could shine. With the Highvale Elves, they have the potential of introducing the only non-savage playable faction who advocates for a perfect balance between Arcane and Nature, considering that Blood Elves, Void Elves and Nightborne are all magic addicts or seek to control corruptive powers, and while Night Elves advocate for Nature, they donāt really like Arcane. They tolerate it, but theyāre not fond of it.
The Nature-Arcane narrative could fit very will with the ideals of a High Elven unification.
When I read this I see a lot more of you and a a lot less of Warcraft.
Iāll do it!
Do you just miss all the people that come in waxing poetic about how they want the good and pure high elves as opposed to the nasty blood elves? I mean, I know itās not universal, but damn itās not a rare thing to see that demand from some people.
While weāre killing things, can we kill, or at least reset the power on the purple mary and gary stus of the night elves? I mean, while I wouldnāt mind them going to help equalize the leader death count, could they at least not be super powered demigods anymore?
I donāt know about all that, but I want to see them break away from the bloody Sunwell at the very least. No void required either.
True, but the Night Elves were there to help them more than once at least. It didnāt really seem like ANYONE helped the Night Elves after the prepatch.
Silver Covenant.
Depends on your point of view.
As an outside observer no.
As an inside observer where it looks like they just smuggled a second weapon of mass destructive power to destroy my allies again through my city that I formed an armed militia to oppose their joining in the first place because I knew I couldnāt trust them. Arguably.
And maybe some of them where a bit nuts. /shrug
A couple of them. Collective punishment is a problem, even from the inside as you put it.
As a reminder, the writers havenāt let it go. It was just brought up int eh war campaign quest lineā¦ and not resolved.
One argument I do disagree vehemently with is when people bring up BEās should have went Alliance.
But as far as the personality traits of why people dislike BEās but prefer HEās I kind of take it as a compliment. But thats my personal view of the traits being listed, as well as my pre existing like of the Blood Elves and identifying with them, I donāt think they are doing anything other than self identifying with the narrative that speaks to them more.
While theyāre bringing up the whole nature oriented High Vale elves, they donāt seem like they were a different culture. Werenāt they just a group of exiles who found an old Night Elf building? They seem like theyāre just camping, not nature powered.
We need this kind of rivalry between Void Elves and Blood Elves. It would make them so much more interesting. Have the Void Elves, like, attack something personal to the Sinādorei or something.
