Once they made void elves instead of going directly to high elves, devs put themselves into a corner.
But the new skins are a better compromise and did enough to return our goodwill.
I still want more customization, but I’m sure it’s coming, just like many other races will get it.
I’m still really upset about void elf lore (it’s been almost three freaking years since their debut!!!) and how high elves were pushed even further to the background because of void elves. However, since I know there will be no racial lore in Shadowlands (at least in 9.0, and until we return to Azeroth), it’s pointless to keep hoping for now. It feels like we will have to wait two more years, until 10.0. Which is ridiculous.
