Void elf dmg buff is a passive racial, not an active. Comparing void elf dmg buff would be more aking to comparing it to passive crit% on blood elf. The comparison of orc dmg buff and AT is fine, but it’s worth remembering that any form of raw damage buff, or just plain stat increase on an active will always be better than something niche. EMFH is also good all around and will always find use. Warstomp is also fantastic in all situations. Never once have I contested any of this, and you can go through my posts. I have never once said anything about any of these. I purely take issue with your comments involving AT.

Have you played Void Elves? Do you know how often that damage procs? It’s almost constant and it’s very easy to chain with cooldowns. I didn’t even mention the benefits of our teleportation and casting. Sorry but a situational, melee ranged purge or a weak, split second silence is a joke by comparison to these.

On the topic of AT, all classes can make use of it for multiple reasons, the first being an actual resource generator is attached to it providing 6% of the user’s base resource. All classes can benefit from this and in multiple situations, this 6% resource can provide much such as enough rage to perform an execute or enough insanity to throw out void eruption (or devouring plage on the topic of shadow lands). 6% resource is a good contributor when discussing numbers.

Laughable. I can’t believe you even brought that up. The gains are minuscule and meaningless by comparison. I can activate teleport and jump down to get a flag, then reactivate it for my escape, or appear behind someone. This stuff is a joke. They’re supposed to be a masters of magic, yet AT only works for melee classes, and not even that well.

However, the main thing I took issue with is your lack of understanding any class can make use of its purge ability. Depending on comp and what someone’s doing, positioning becomes key, and a huge part of arena and bringing people behind things like pillars, or baiting them into good positions includes doing something like performing a HoJ, or a ranged stun and then closing the gap enough to AT in the hopes of getting something big such as Innervate, Combustion, BoP etc.

It’s also worth remembering that you can AT your friendlies out of things like mind control - and yes, this works on NPC mind controls - (as well as baseline purge it with priest purge, or shaman purge) thus making blood elves one of the biggest counters to priests in the game because they can completely destroy a go through the use of their racial on their partner if said partner is mind controlled, breaking them out instantaneously and stopping the need for a trinket with proper defensives.

You are incorrect. All classes and spec combinations can make use of AT. This is proven through resource generation by itself.

You exaggerate profoundly, but I also came to this conclusion, hence why I said it was useful for my hunter. Most people have a sea of spells all over them, this won’t make any difference. I have multiple purges and can spam it to an extent, removing 3 effects, but most classes do not, nor do they want to be in melee range.

Sorry but none of this compares to most other racials, so you can pump out all the hyperbole you want, I’m still right.

No they can’t use it unless they’re melee and it’s just one purge. Generally speaking, it’s useless. Personally I prefer racials that work in many situations, not just when all the stars align in an arena.

I don’t care about “human” hair colors personally. What I would like is some hair colors that actually look “void” and so far only a couple actually look good. Black hair or some colors that don’t clash with their blue skin tones would be nice.

You keep sticking on the melee range thing. I keep telling you all classes, including casters, can use AT for free resource generation, and if positioned properly, can benefit from it. There’s nothing stopping a warlock from belf racial’ing the BoP off the warrior training him so his rogue can kidney him. There’s nothing stopping a blood elf holy paladin from arcane torrenting their partner out of enemy mind control. There’s nothing stopping a blood elf BM hunter from disengaging into a fray he’s not the target of, and blood elf racial’ing off the BoP, or disengage trapping a cast and then belf’ing off the innervate.

I’m a duelist hunter as well, who happens to be blood elf. I have done all of these things. You keep trying to focus on purging one thing, but that purge on innervate, or divine favor, or holy ward can make all the difference in a game.

Again, all arcane torrent needs to be used properly is good positioning. Your inability to position well, and thus thinking it is useless, does not mean it is actually useless.

If it had some range and I put in a target macro, I’d agree with you, but it’s melee range, so do you know the odds of dispelling mind control on someone 10-20 yards away from you? The spell would run out before you’d get to him. This is silly.

The purge won’t come into full effect until Shadowlands, unless you’re talking about doing it in the PTR

Healers on progression raiding would have a very, very thorough argument with you. Proper use of AT through a long enough encounter is 12-18% mana back if used in a proper manner.

As I mentioned, I am also a duelist hunter. I’ve multi-classed eight characters to 2k+, been a multi-BFA duelist, and hit 2400. You can keep thinking I bought it, but if I bought all that, lemme be clear, I wish I had that kind of money. I don’t. I have done this very same thing of disengaging, belfing, feigning, and then getting out. It’s not that hard. Especially when you run Survival Instincts, which you should be in almost every game.

My girlfriend is a holy paladin. She has belfed me out of more MC’s than you can imagine on our push to 2400. But sure. Keep thinking that.
