High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

They are identified as Privateers, which means they were independent merchants.
The point of the matter was to demonstrate not all high elves are alliance aligned, and that many are neutral and in some cases, hostile to high elves.
It was not for the purpose of

You’re making up arguments for people.
Any luck on the quote mowa? The one I made yesterday according to you?

You know, band wagoning onto something that is a made up argument doesn’t facilitate a healthy discussion. It just makes you two look as if you’re trying to troll people in the worst manner possible.

Oh…wait…its Kizzan and Donoman.

A privateer is not a pirate, and I don’t remember them ever being referred to as such either. The only reason they were even fired upon was because an alliance admiral was shooting down and sinking every ship not under his command.

And Gilthares Firebough is still very much alive, and being held prisoner in Northwatch hold. The point was that differing political views, and opinions do not make new races, and it does not mean every single high elf in existence is loyal, or even friendly to the alliance.

It’s really not worth quoting him, he’s already made his reputation as a troll with very little if anything of value to actually contribute to any conversation.

maybe if you people would realize we are talking about the collective group that refers to themselves as high elves and not the race high elves you would understand. But of course all know you do and are just being difficult.

That is true, he doesn’t even play BFA either. Even though he manages two separate subs for it.

It’s silly to argue that High Elves aren’t really alliance-friendly because of one NPC. It’s like saying that Blood Elves aren’t horde because Valeera and the Scryers are friendly to my alliance character.

Considering there is actually several NPC’s of Blood Elves having Blue Eyes.

you want to know why he does that? because the alliance is messing with his business. He can’t exactly hire alliance adventurers to go and take out alliance military personnel.

The guy is part of the steamwheedle cartel. not the horde.

That’s right, it would be a silly argument to make.
Which is why the argument was never made to begin with.
All you did was band wagon onto what Mowachassa said, along with Kizzan.
The original argument was that not ALL high elves are allied with the alliance and that some are neutral or even enemies to them.

This desire to mindlessly agree with people just because they agree with you on a singular point is unhealthy group think.

More than several, considering that a few are military units with multiple members. The Frosthand mages, and the Sunreaver captains are seen both in Dalaran, and on the isle of thunder, which tells us they are not limited to individual npcs.

you’re right. A privateer isn’t a pirate. They are just hired by a government to do pirating on specific targets (or just not to attack their ships)

Or to conduct independent trade during times of war for the purpose of not favoring either sides.
Privateers can be hired by governments for a variety of things, and the statement by the NPC is literally that they are acting as a neutral party and being fired upon when they are no threat to the alliance in any capacity.

Their story is explained when you do the quest as a Hordey.
They were just there to deliver goods and nothing more.

Not the point? They make it very clear they despise the alliance, and that the alliance despise them. Gilthares Firebough and the horde player both fight, and kill alliance soldiers along their way back to ratchet. And by the end of the quest the captain tells the horde player that they have a place of honor among them.

High elves have many different views, but they are not different races because of it.

No matter how many times you ask her/him, it is nether going to happen. They have said that we’re the trolls yet, they actually troll themselves.

and the alliance is blockading the entirety of ratchet at the time to cut off all horde supply lines by sea.

I am merely saying this guy isn’t part of the horde. It is strictly business.

Indeed, and they are illegally firing upon the Thalo’dan privateers at this time under suspicion. It is like the Lusitania incident.

Mmm…I would say at first they weren’t horde, but they have become horde aligned because of what North watch did.

“I can’t believe you got past the guards. These zealots from Theramore are out of their minds. They sank our ship and imprisoned me, the only survivor. I was called an enemy and threat to the Alliance. Me! A threat to their great sham of an Alliance?”

I’m sorry, but this sounds personal.

It’s really not this hard to understand what we are asking for.

Many understand what you desire Avarie, we simply disagree with it.

Even then it shouldn’t be this difficult.
