High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

Says who? Certainly not the game devs for the past 15 years, who haven’t made them playable. Even Ion told you no!

I dunno, not like there aren’t some lore pretzels that’d make Dali blush coming from you and yours.

I’d also say it’s biased to say that the game has supported the idea in any way, when from what I’ve seen it hasn’t and the devs have actively stated that they aren’t really planning on doing so. But hey, not like I’m not biased either.

Your unwillingness to move past the RTS series doesn’t keep the rest of the game world from turning. If it bothers you that much I guess you can always just play the RTS things though; but WoW is not that game.

I showed you my main. Quid pro quo? Give me a little peek? A little gaze, a little head-in-duck-out? Clearly your main must be so impressive to call us little casuals, who are utterly insignificant compared to your 15$ or less a month!

If we take into account the Night Elves is parallels well. Except the Night Elves were initially hostile to the alliance and now they seem to have good relations despite the recent Tyrande development.

The relationship status can improve, if it hasn’t already, we don’t know. Especially with Anduin as the leader.

Endgame content on the Alliance side from the game itself doesn’t support a request for an Allied Race?

I’d love to see a link to that solid “No, never gonna happen”.

Least you can admit it. :man_shrugging:

Mr Cezol, may I please see your main that you claim is not this character?

Without the lore that established Warcarft, WoW is literally nothing.

Joy, no there not. As I said, they were apart of the Alliance of Lordaeron for a short period of time, only to have help with dealing with the Amani Troll problem in there homeland. As for them being part of the Alliance of Stormwind, they were never apart of them, but only helped them deal with the Horde Invasion in the second war.

This is something that you should’ve known right at the start, considering your call yourself a “Warcraft Fan” but change things around a little to make what your saying completely different to the actual lore from back in the days of Warcraft.

You seem angry, is it past your bedtime in your timezone?

Query: How is this a relevant response

Query: Show me the main that you claimed you have. I have reciprocated and shown you my main.

Nope.

Oh, clever boy, trying to trick me into your trap by twisting my words. Never said they said solidly no. I said that they aren’t planning on it. Which things like “Blood elves kinda are High Elves” lean to. It’s not a strong declarative statement. But it does show current intent, which can always change. But as it hasn’t been contradicted, it’s not a point in favor of “things are pointing towards them!”

You hold onto this string of hope because they’ve always danced around the issue. Always sayin no plans, Maybe yadda yadda. For years theyve said this, over a decade.

It’s time to come to grips with reality. The Devs are not gonna do it and pretending like it’'s this sure thing is literally the incarnation of the Skeleton waiting meme.

It established the world of vanilla, and we are now 8 expansions in–soon to be 9. The game is not chained and duct taped to the same stuff that was front and center 15 years ago, and belves as you chase endlessly with the sunwell have Never Been an Alliance Race.

The in-game cinematics in BfA refer to the Alliance and Horde fighting since the Alliance included Lordaeron and before the Horde was Thrall’s Horde. The characters in-lore literally see the current Alliance and Horde as direct continuations of the same Alliance and Horde present in Warcarft II.

And here you are telling me about lore and stuff. Absolutely lmfao.

joy the high elves of quel’thalas left the alliance and joined the horde. only a few individuals actually remained loyal. they had to make a deal or be compelled by an ancient blood oath before agreeing to an alliance

the only humans the high elves of quel’thalas had any kind of kinship with was the humans who would become the dalarani. who they helped build dalaran with together, but dalaran was always the only human kingdom they had any interest in working with due to that citys use of magic :relaxed:

Yeah i never asked, but keep up the angry posting, really shows the validity of your sides "Argument" .

So we can keep asking, cool.

Unless stated recently, that’s the point of the request, isn’t it?

The Ion interview is recent.

Knock yourself out for all the good it will do.

But maybe, you know, stay on topic when you make your quips. I brought up the Ion statement in response to your insistence that things are pointing towards the inclusion of a playable copy of Blood Elves on Alliance, so not trying to tell you not to ask what you want. Just pointing out that there are things that suggest they won’t be playable as well.

Post on the main you claim made the rest of us casuals, and this argument will die.
