High Elf Allied Race Megathread (Continuation)

and if we can recruit blood elves into void elf-ry. why havent we been able to convert blood elves back into accepting their high elf titles and rejoining the alliance? i mean if they accept the alliance for conversion to void elf, clearly theres a strain of blood elves who want to be on the alliance.

There are some, as they are implied in BC.

how are new void elves made? i thought it was all just an accident hehe

It was an accident and something they are trying to figure out. It’s another reason why they are studying the void.

so they aren’t actually making new void elves? omygosh its worse than i thought lol

Blizzard literally saying “They are not recruiting” means they are NOT recruiting.

And they can’t make more right now so they still wouldn’t be turning into Void Elves anyway.

You’ve been proven 100% wrong and it’s up to you to stop making yourself look bad with false claims.

And even if they do figure out how to make more, Void Elves became playable before that as “An Elite Crack Squad” so it only shows numbers don’t matter. Especially since there are more High Elves the Void Elves.

I’m still waiting for an in-lore reason why they would even want to make more.

I mean, turning people into overpowered schizophrenics isn’t a good idea. The more there are, the higher the risk of one of them losing it and heralding the apocalypse or something.

And “Studying the void” is one thing. Infusing it into people (including non-casters) is another.

They were trapped by voidy boys and were being turned into void beings, but the process was interrupted by a rescue mission so the process wasnt completed, leaving us with blood elves tainted by the void.

As far as I have heard as of right now, there is currently no way to duplicate the process for these “recruits”.

No. Just no. Tentacles and purple blood. A Nether Prince who was in the process of completely remaking them into non-corporeal beings and was only stopped by the player and Alleria from completing the work. They are no longer genetically the same as Thalassian elves
which is what they once were. This isn’t about them being infused with Void energy, like Alleria, they were remade.

Once again, just as with Caeils

thats my specualtion about void elves on what is displayed in game. i never claimed it was fact or confirmed

Of course, I will add in that it doesn’t mean that Blizzard won’t change their minds or add some development to the lore for the void elf squad. They can find a way to make more of their own kind.

Blizzard has been known to retcon a lot and add random stuff out of nowhere.

so my response to your alt yesterday, that you should be helping your fellow players to get what they want in game, not siding with a company that argues there arent enough high elves to make a race, whilst simultaneously making a crack squad that literally has no way to make more of themselves because it was all just an accident lol think about how crazy that is.

and again low pop is not the main reason for denying playable alliance high elves

wasnt that the whole thing behind your argument that only 5 were visible in the elisande cut scene?

I throw my support in as always, now and forever. STAND AS ONE!

And your speculation is wrong yet you keep bringing it up even after people have told you it’s wrong. For several months. Without stop.

That’s on you.

They can, but it doesn’t change the fact that Void Elves are already playable despite having ridiculously small numbers.

With Darkspear being almost extinct, Draenei being in the few hundred, lightforged being even less, Mag’har being a single bumrush of survivors, and Pandaren being the students of one school on the back of a big turtle for both factions.

The population argument is long dead and not a factor.

its the lore reason. that only a few actual alliance high elves exist and there are no hubs where they could come from. words i have always said and repeated by ion himself here

gameplay reason is they are already playable

blizzard has said if you want to play a high elf, the horde is waiting for you
