The last part of the mount quest for the Legion Order Hall is currently undoable at 110. I am sure you all know what is what. Hiding in Plain Sight requires you to go to each of the enemy faction capitals and murder a mark that is an undead disguised so well they are fooling everyone. Yadda.
The problem is simple; The guard level increase with BFA.
The city guards of all the cities have been boosted to 120, which is natural as its part of the expansion. However, it makes them able to see through stealth at a distance because of the level increase. It makes it next to impossible to do the kill the mark quest at level 110.
The solution is, of course, to go level through BFA and get to 120 and do it then, but the idea of that is just galling.
One particular issue would be that this quest is now undoable to anyone who has yet to purchase BFA. Some people might have not yet upgraded. I was just trying to get my mount on this alt so as to be able to raven around in style before I went to Zandalar.
So learning I have to get to level 120 before I even get my class hall mount is completely saddening.
Could we get someone to address this issue? I really would love a fix of some sort to allow 110 rogues to complete this quest. Turning it into a scenario? Giving the rogues on this quest a stealth buff so no one but the mark’s guards can see through it in the cities? Something with phasing to restore the 110 version of the capital cities to allow 110 rogues to complete the quest as usual?
I don’t know. But I’ll just level this alt and do it at 120. I just did all the buildup and the stupid sentinax farming(this takes bloody forever) for pretty much nothing.

I don’t know if this is the same thing or not. The 120 Elite Guards in the BFA zones can see through Stealth. Also, if one guard is standing around with no others and you fight him, 5 more come running and join the fight. You can’t beat them and they chase you almost forever. Sad story I know.
I agree, OP. I tried to do this at 110, and kept dying only to realize that this quest is no longer doable at 110. It’s pretty screwed up. Now, I have no choice but to wait to get the mount and level to 120. It’s pretty ridiculous. I can do two of the 3 kills. The last kill is impossible at level 110.

This is still an issue in Shadowlands. I was able to do all but Auctioneer Xifa in Org. Stealth/vanish doesn’t work on guards who are in close proximity to the auctioneers and they are 60, I’m 50, so they 1 -2 shot me. Even if I level all through Shadowlands there are on average 5 - 6 PvPers standing in the auction house.
Come on Blizz, this really needs to be a scenario like pretty much all the other classes have.

I was disappointed to discover that I couldn’t get my class mount on my Rogue due to the level issue. I don’t own Shadowlands and I’m capped at level 50. Why do I have to be level 60 to run a Legion quest? I agree with Setet - this needs to be a scenario like other classes. I can’t believe how easy it was to get my mounts on Hunter and Paladin - Rogue? Impossible.

Yup, looks completely borked to me. At least the last Orgrimmar AH kill.
At level 60 I get one, maybe two hits (when lucky) on her then am effectively one shotted by the 2 L70 guards in the room (3 if I timed it poorly) - all hitting for about 10K per hit with their bows.
This is via shadow stepping through the wall to kill her as its simply impossible to stealth in through the door.

Yup 10.2 and still can’t do it without being max level, The other one earlier in SW you can at least cheese by flying but this is near impossible without spending a tonne of time and gold on repairs… Great job bliz
