Hiding guild chat

Is there any way in WoW classic to hide guild chat.

You can disable guild chat on your main window and then create a new window that only has Guild chat enabled. With that set up, you can just swap to a different tab any time you don’t want to see guild chat.

I think I disabled it, but still seeing people from the guild log in and out. Any way to shut that off too?

Yes, there is.

You can quit the guild, easy solution. No need to thank me.

Right? What’s the point of being in a Guild, if the Guild features are this upsetting to one person?

Voted as “Best Solution” to your post!!

Thanks.

For those messages, disable “system messages” for the chat tab that’s showing them.

yes

Just type /gquit

I don’t find guild chat upsetting, but if you belong to a chatty and/or large guild it can knock other things off your chat window too fast.

Yeah best way is multiple tabs. There are add-ons that will let you have multiple windows too. Very useful to keep it organized between all the messages.
