Sometimes I want to just have Armor and not show my huge staff.

I can hide it behind a “Special” back piece. But sometimes that back piece doesn’t make any sense with the Mog or is just not available for your fantasy Mog.
This option will allow us to walk around the city more casually while retaining the power of our weapons.
I just use different colored wings to match my outfit

This would be cool, for now I know a lot of weapon types have something really small to mog to.
That’s not what you’re looking for but may be the best stopgap for now.
well, if you were a monk, you could use that invisible fist-weapon they have. 
Yeah, i do this too, usually i’ll go for some super small twig of a staff instead of some massive monstrosity of a thing hanging off my back lol
On the weapon discussion, i think people would like their weapons more if we had Harry Potter style casting animations, like shooting spells out of our wands or whatever, casting them out of our hands when we have weapons on our backs/belts seems a bit silly, we may as well just hide them with how things are set up because they’re nothing but stat sticks for casters (at least melee get to smack things with theirs).
I think the Casters should turn back to Wands.

Staffs are good but idk I don’t find it fun for some reason.
Make runic symbols with wand in the Air for the spells with cast time. I think that would be cool.
