I keep talking to the tauren lady to make it so my profession equipment is hidden while I’m not using it and it keeps turning back on. I don’t want to constantly have on a gardening hat and hand scythe.

Same! I really wish they’d add a toggle setting under graphics or something that let’s you permanently hide the profession equipment. It’s incredibly annoying to continuously and repeatedly keep right-clicking the “you are wearing your profession equipment” buff over and over and over, especially since I’ve already told the tauren lady I don’t want to see it.

My thoughts exactly. If we used to have a hide helm check box in vanilla, we can have one for these danged things now.

Same problem. My shaman has a stupid looking kobold helmet and my druid has a flower basket all the time. I toggled them off and they still show up. It’s pretty obnoxious.

The option seems to work for the fishing equipment, but not for the rest. I don’t want to keep clicking off the buff every time I skin an enemy.

I wrote an addon that removes the buff while I’m not using the equipment, but I don’t know the names of all the buffs, just the ones for alchemy, herbalism and cooking. LeatrixPlus claims to already have this feature, but I tried it and it doesn’t work. Mine does work however. Just can’t call CancelUnitBuff() while in combat.
