Hide personal resource display buffs

Edit: I can use /run NamePlate.UnitFrame.BuffFrame:Hide() to remove it but once I’m out of combat it reappears. I am losing my mind.

I don’t know where to post this I posted it in ui and macro too but idk if that was right.

I stopped playing last night around midnight and everything was fine.

When I logged in today my personal resource display has buffs that I don’t need to track showing up. It’s annoying and wouldn’t be a big deal but when I mouseover them, a tooltip box shows up in the middle of my screen.

I have these in combat options -

personal resource display - checked
hide health and power bars - checked
show special resources on targets - unchecked
show personal cooldowns - unchecked
show friendly buffs - unchecked

Last night it would only show my warlock shards, now buffs appear and I did not change any settings.

I disabled all addons and they still show up.

I’ve logged in and out a few times and they still show up.

I have spent the last hour searching google, reddit and blizzard forums.

Can anyone please help me?

Thank you but no. I want the shards showing which it shows. But also it shows buffs that I don’t want showing above the shards on my warlock.

I’m not sure what warlock shards are. Would you get better help in the Warlock forums here?

Also if there’s any way you can take a screenshot, that’d probably help folks help you out. If you can’t post screenshots, you can still wrap them in single quotes like this: www.google.com (`) if you host them on imgur or another third party platform.

It’s just the soul shards we use as our resource spender for things like chaos bolt. The Warlock forums wouldn’t be of any use because this definitely sounds like a UI issue.

They also aren’t very active there tbh

Shards are the resource that warlocks use.

Everything works fine on my arcane mage. I can see my arcane charges and that is it. No health/mana bar and no buffs.

Here is a picture from google. You can see the Beastial wrath, barbed shot stacks, etc. above the personal nameplate display.

did you find a solution this is also annoying me trying to set up my ui and the valuable space around my nameplate has this crap on it

No, I just stopped playing my Warlock. Maybe they will fix it one day and I will play it.

I can not have tooltips popping up in the middle of my screen during pvp.

It was so disruptive for me, I just stopped playing the Warlock.
