Don’t need to hide the pants if you just don’t wear any.

This is one of those things to me where I’m not opposed and wouldn’t mind if it were added, but that I can see VERY few legitimate reasons for people to use beyond “haha I’m fighting naked!”.

There are 2 use cases that come to mind, please correct me if there are more (other than ‘haha naked’):

  1. Like 2 models of Vanilla Robe have long leg slits on the sides. Even the most revealing pants still show up in that slit even if it’s a small amount, which messes with the look. Hiding pants would benefit these couple models for transmog.
  2. You could MAYBE get away with crafting a non-meme transmog with pants hidden on Female Pandaren, simply due to the fact that their “underwear” is fancy as hell. I won a Trial of Style match with that without going for skimpy, at least.

That’s all I can think of.

Like I said, it’s not something I’m gonna fight, if it gets added that’s fine, I just can’t think of many real reasons people would even use it, beyond memes.

I would love to hide pants on this toon.

Male Nightborne wears shorts that not only look better than most pants Blizz designs, but also go with many male Nightborne mogs or they usually go around like that, with shorts.

On the other hand, this might give Blizz an excuse to add DH/Pandaren styled underwear on every character. And we’d see the rage. :eyes:

One reason to add the ability to hide pants is that cloth and leather users have access to what are basically transmog undies anyway; they’re just really low res and don’t look nearly as good as worgen undies or zandalari troll undies or void elf undies, etc.

Also it would increase gender equality in the game because most of the skimpiest plate gear is Vanilla/BC-era gear that only looks skimpy on women. I think adding the hide chest option went a long way towards making this difference not really matter as much, but they need to finish the job.

9.2 is like March or April.

They could flip a switch and hide pants today.

i don’t understand why we can’t have on transmog the option to hide pants and the option to have different gloves and bracelets like we do in shoulders now.

like i want to have 1 arm with shoulder and gloves and the other with only a bracelet or a different shoulder and bracelet.

why can’t we make a copy of one shoulder to the other, i want to wear the cloth quest shoulders from warlord of dreanor in both shoulders so i can look like i got two wiggly towel in my shoulders.

why? because i want too have that and i don’t care if it looks ridiculous i want the freedom to express my art of dumba**.
