What hidden items, quests, or pieces of lore do we all remember from vanilla WoW?
I remembered today that there was a quest in westfall that got you a chicken pet if you /chicken at it enough and then feed it. There’s also a rare map drop in westfall that gets you some pirate loot after you do a treasure hunt. Or, the really sad quest that started in the water beneath Thandol Span.
Are there more that you remember from vanilla that few people may have actually come across?
It’s not exactly hidden but I always enjoyed the BRD keying quest that you needed to talk to a ghost to start. How many quests require you to die? Not many.

I know this is fairly well known now… but back in the day it was a complete mind blown moment when you got that quest from a gnome in ungoro crater that sent you on a whole bunch of zelda themed quests. I think his name was Linkin?
The hidden naga quests in arathi, the message in the bottle quest. I’m sure I forgot so many…
I spent an afternoon in the dancing troll village. Just hanging out.
I loved the linkin quests. The boomerang was a fun reward for a while.
Unfinished Hyjal. I remember some video back when it was first discovered of just some paladin running around it, put to some LotR music or something.
Also, the Ironforge airport. Back on Dark Iron, the guild I was in set up our own AV scenario with a rival guild and had a blast before a GM ported us all down.
I spent a while in the mini-tauren village on the coast south of AQ.
Old irondorge was cool. I think it required an epic mount but being able to get there was fun.
You could do it with a duel and somehow doing something to die and just respawn. There were a couple other ways i’ve heard of.
