I’m trying to figure out how to unlock the other tints for the feral hidden artifact appearance and I keep finding old guides.
Can I just use the moonspirit appearance from the barber shop or do I need to transmog my weapons to the artifact as well?
If you have it unlocked, it can be accessed from the barber shop

You have to have unlocked the original Mage Tower weapon during Legion then you got the default tint, the new Mage Tower “Fel” looks do not count. If you want to unlock the other tints you must complete the associated feat.
Using Feral as an example
- Original Weapon obtained
- Green is from defeating Heroic Kil’Jaeden in Tomb of Sargeras
- Purple is for winning 10 Rated PvP matches
- Red was for completing all Legion era dungeons
2, 3, and 4 can just be done at 70. Run through the content and pretty much one shot everything, and 3 requires you to win 10 current rated PvP matches.
Once unlocked you can now individually choose your appearances at any barbershop.
What you can’t do is unlock the base color (because you can’t actually earn the weapon) anymore. In other words, I did Mage Tower as Guardian and as Feral in Legion so I have tints 1,2,4 for those (I don’t PvP so I don’t have 3), but I never did the Boomie or Healing Mage challenge so for those I only have 2/4, and I can still earn 3, but I’ll never be able to get 1

I have the base unlocked. I’m trying to unlocked the other colors. To do so, can I just do the requirements with the appearance equipped from the barbershop, or so I need to transmog the weapon too?
For example:
“ Kill 1000 enemy Players using a Hidden Artifact Skin”
I’m assuming this is just the skin from the barber shop and not the daggers too?
