Should hibernate be putting us in combat? I mean, the animal is asleep.
Entangle/mass entangle dont put us into combat, and were actually violating them with tentacle vines.
It’s one of those weird things that doesn’t make sense huh?
I mean it’s similar to a sap - so I’m surprised it doesn’t work the same way. Can’t think of how it would be overpowered since it’s a lot more situational and opportunities to use it are few and far between. At least in my experience.
I love that entangle doesn’t get us in combat though
It’s like some enemy is just wandering around when these thorny vines sprout from the ground and entangle them and they just stop and wonder, “Hmm…That’s odd…I guess I’ll just chill for a while until these go away…Oh, hi random nature-clad passerby! Go about your business.”
Yep. Also got a bit annoyed while herbing and hibernating a mob. Going back into travel form when you’re in combat is no fun!

If i remember right, i think back in the day we could limit their aggro radius, like WAAAAAY back in the day.
…unless they resisted it and then it pulled.
Ahh vanilla…
I think that was just priests.
Just looked it up - Soothe animal.
IT DOES EXIST!.. and it is terrible lol.
All i can really recall is using it to sneak past some mobs in felwood and it failing about 1/2 the time because i was too low level (which was why i was using it) So terrible.
Soothe Animal is gone, its now just Soothe and gets rid of enrage effects.
Vincent, I actually remembered this being an old druid! I tried to Soothe it and was confused why I was pulling aggro. I then read the tooltip and saw that it cleanses enrage effects.
