I don’t think that is a great idea.
Most of the complaints I’ve seen about DR is not necessarily the active attention component to it, more so the speed/effects which can cause vertigo or motion sickness amongst a few other lesser mentioned challenges.
Imo, we should have been able to fly on our old mounts as soon as we unlock DR, 30 mins into the story. Even maybe give the old mounts a little +100% boost in the Dragon Isles.
PF is nonsense at this point. It’s just a gate for new/returning players. Anyone playing consistently will have satisfied the conditions outside whatever new thing they tack on.

Regular flight is…regular.
Dragonflight is different, therefore, faster.
They are in the process of adapting dragon-like mounts and some other winged mounts (I think they posted a list of them at one time).
I’m just hoping they include the Sky Golem. It already as a roll animation so just adding a surge animation (maybe a rocket burst) shouldn’t be too hard.
