You didn’t include the part where I said that there are definitely valid complaints about outlaw. You have to be trolling if you’re going to legitimately try to draw a parallel between doing damage as outlaw and pressing blade dance after essence break. Not simping at all, one is just clearly more broken than the other.

Outlaws issue is not the dmg, it’s that it isn’t a target due to cdr on major defensives.

I know. My point was not that outlaw’s damage is what makes it good, but that it’s damage is not as straightforward to pull off. Not sure how that got misconstrued.

Hitting essence break backflippin flamethrower into a aoe ms one shot is really hard substantially harder than coordinating cc on a rogue your right
I mean realistically the only thing hard about outlaw damage is if you RTB low at the start which is RNG. It’s not a complex spec to “master” damage wise which is why it does well in keys since it’s pretty pick up and play.
The other part of its kit you might find “hard” is the rogue application of blind, kidney, cheap spam, and disarm. But that’s just the basics of playing rogue which has had such training wheels thrown at it with dance and subterfuge that even 1500 rogues manage it without much problem.
Again, if you do things on DH out of order your DPS drops and you’re less successful. Modifier stacking with your bonuses from felrush, glaive toss, demon souls, etc. is where the big dam comes from and it’s about on par for hard with outlaw. Only difference is outlaw’s defensive strength comes from massive CDR (that’s baked into the PvE rotation kit) and DH just has it on hand. Outlaw isn’t suffering trying to get the defensives out and still has stupid control+burst even when they’re able to do less damage.
Kidneying here, cheap shot spamming here, blinding here.

Oops I mis timed all that, don’t worry though CDR will have it up in 30-40 seconds so I can do it all again no problem due to my PvE rotation actively reducing my CD’s.
Cry me a river, unless you’re playing at the top being a rogue has never been more hand hold than it has been for the last two expansion.

Rogues really roughing it out there, you’re making it work against all odds because kidneying the off target and spamming cheap is really really really really hard. Also doing unhealable cleave damage is borderline impossible. Dunno how rogues do it, pressing blade flurry while also doing their ST rotation

There are a lot more things that you can mess up with outlaw’s dam profile that will leave you kind of doing nothing for decent chunks of time. It’s not just build and spend or press buttons when they light up in xyz order. It’s not as easy to pick up as something like warrior or dh.
