So the Devs know obviously that Destro is broken design and they even stated how unhealthy it is for PvP.
So if PvP is in an unhealthy state due to Destro, can we get some of those Hotfixes now for the next 6 months of BFA! Just remove focused chaos PvP talent and target their tankiness for the next batch of Hotfixes. You can do it Blizzard!!!

I don’t understand why haste reduces chaos bolt casting so much, with 66% haste, I shoot my sniper shot in 1.7sec, and aimed shot 1,5sec … CB is almost free cast -_-

between that, and the many haste procs that destro has naturally, a haste stacking lock will have wayyy higher than 66% haste during his go’s. Oh and conflag reduce bolt cast time ;p
if anything they’d do some tuning to the extent of gosup reduction in PVP, focus chaos reduction, defensive reduction in PVP
They’re not just going to drop a massive gosup change in the middle of the patch. That isn’t a hot fix lol
First off this isn’t about Prot vs Destro this is about Destro vs the community and how it’s ruining PvP.
Second I have 1 kick. Literally 1. I can talent into a 2nd kick with a silence which is the worst working silence in PvP because you have to attach it to an attack and it’s on GCD. (also 45 sec CD) So if you call for a silence you have to wait for Avenger shield to come off CD then spend a GCD to attach Shield of Virtue silence to Avenger shield and use it.
A lot of times I don’t even take the silence because it’s hardly ever ready when you need it unless you are trying to do long scripted goes and it messes up your rotation so much because you can’t stop doing you main attack.
Honestly they should fix that thing instead of having to manage 2 separate CD’s and GCDs just to get off a silence. Even if I have everything available it takes 3 secs to get off the silence meanwhile the lock got of a Fear and 2 bolts in that time.

I agree, having said that I don’t think they care to be honest. Any person in charge that was testing out pvp as a tester could fix items as needed. All it would take is to reduce damage on chaos bolt and some small changes.
Secondly, to move on to fire mages. Gpie is noted as being strong by the Devs which is why they are putting a 15 sec cd in shadowlands. The problem is why wait until then to implement the change? If there is a problem now that is severe, it’s best to fix it now. Not 5 months from now.
But I agree with Abomination these are changes that the devs themselves admit are a problem. This is shown in the “It also created unhealthy gameplay in pvp”. Well you know what you do when it is unhealthy pvp? You fix it.
I feel like that fix isn’t even that great, possibly worse.

I personally blame ppl like abomination for destro being like it is now.
Back in cata warlocks had the ability
To actually kite but all the melee cried because they thought they should have 100% uptime on us so we lost that kite/ outplay ability
And blizzard had to substitute that loss with something.
So in all reality you are the reason for all of this.
And CC. Conflagrate root and Infernal stun need to be addressed. Even though I hate Double Coil, I think those 2 are more likely to be targeted.
