Hey anyone else notice this

Lol i went to fight a Lost of Lordaeron battlepet and it was a poor so I thought ok I’ll kill it and look for a rare…when you kill these things it puts you in combat and drains your health down to 0 only way around it is to log off fast lol did blizzard do this for fun or something?

How fun!

I created an Undead just now to try this. As it happens, there are capturable Lost of Lordaeron at Deathknell (the Undead starting zone), and I didn’t even have to take the first quest. I captured two (I already had one), and killed another. “Don’t you hurt my level one silver tabby, you bad old ghost!”

But it didn’t happen for me. I feel so ripped off! I demand my toon drop to zero health and force me to log off when I kill a Lost of Lordaeron battle pet!

my character must be cursed than because when i kill one of those battlepets i get into combat and start to loose health or it might be that im playing the zandalari allied class but o well guess its a bug or something

Bugs happen. I’d report it.

Just tried this in the Ruins of Lorderon using a level 10 Vulpera character and a pet team of 3 level 1’s. Didn’t see any problems and not sure what happened to you.

Up against a level 2 Lord of Lorderon, an Uncommon B/B, killed it after a few rounds and it went into its Undead round, where it comes back to life once after being killed, still in combat. There was no life being drained from either my Vulpera or my pets. My options now, aside from logging, would’ve been to wait out one more round – the Lord dies permanently whether I kill it or not – or else Forfeit.

Did the log show what you died from? What level and class were you? What spells did you use to kill it? Are you wearing items that trigger self damage or using any spells that do? Does the same thing happen killing other critters or pets on that character? There have been weird scaling issues with killing critters in the past and I wonder if it triggered massively scaled self damage somehow. I’m just curious at this point haha.
