Yeah no. I disagree. I think crates should be equal due to what you have to do to farm it and embellishments existing.

I do enjoy the game WHILE I increase in ilvl’s as much as I can.

I think the 3 ilvl is kinda necessary so people aren’t just filling 6+ slots with crafted items. We had crafted at max myth in aberrus and I swear gear just stopped mattering cuz people crafted on every slot that wasn’t tier or a trinket.

What’s the point of all of this if you are just going to bump up the top end from 639 to 642? This is so pointless.

So number go up = fun

Number stop go up = stop playing

Yeah I can see that aspect considering the control of secondaries.

Maybe make embellishments themselves up the crafted level by three so you can only have two slots max with the higher ilvl.

But like I said that there ilvl is not something to really complain about.

For me, yes. Nothing to go for.

The time I spent going from 52x (start of the expansion) to 63x I consider it fun enough and kept me entertained for plenty of hours.

Are you saying because it’s too powerful for the content?

So you don’t do things in game because you enjoy doing them? You don’t actually like playing your character?

May I interest you in an abacus? The numbers go up much more with one of those, and the real fun thing is they don’t stop going up. Much cheaper too.

I like this idea, however it gets a bit weird with crest saving / discount. You’d end up embellishing / unembellishing to save 15 gilded per slot.

It’s really a problem with Champion gear. I said I didn’t want to take anything away from players. That’s the meaning.

It’s not about being too powerful. Power is relative and depends on tuning of the thing you are fighting. The problem is that your solution doesn’t change anything.

You said the current issue is that Champion goes “almost up to the same ilvl” as Hero when there’s currently a 13 ilvl gap. With your change all you have done was make the overall ilvl gap even wider and shift the Champion-Hero “problem” to Hero-Myth.

Wouldn’t you have to spend 90 to get it max level though? Like my bis for crates is bracers/gloves.

So I make embellishments to get to 639 would require 90 crests

Say I wanted to make a neck I’d still need the 90 crests to make it 636 but no embellishment means it’s 636 not 639.

Edit wait. I see what you mean now. Craft it with a cheap embellishment then remove the embellishment

Champion gear is too high. That’s the real problem. Heroic gear is a negligible upgrade. Like you said before about crafted gear and 3 ilvls not mattering. 6 ilvls is almost no difference for an entirely different tier of content.

Would be much simpler and rewarding for me if they simply got rid of gear track overlaps and went back to the 13 ilvl difference between difficulties.

Except it’s not 3 or 6, it’s 13.

Champion stops at 613.
Hero stops at 626.

The reason they don’t wanna do that is they don’t want people sitting on crests they can’t spend. You should have always have something you can upgrade, even if it’s not the 100% efficient option.
