Heroic Raid easier than M+ 5

Why is the Heroic Raid of S1 easier than Mythic dungeon +5 Grim Batol?

I have AoTc lol this game is goofy, Shouldn’t raiding be more challenging? I’m missing something here right?

they want the community to stop being bad and start using interrupts, so that they can make cool encounters for us in the future…cuz their encounter team is very creative imo.

They did this to us in Cataclysm already when they were tired of us being bad and standing in the fire all the time, so it felt like a huge difficulty jump from wrath to cata at first…but it was necessary to get better quality fights…like the playerbase has got to learn how to play at some point right?

People need to start interrupting imo…it’s unbelievable.

It probably isn’t. More likely that people aren’t following the mechanics rather than tuning being harder than Heroic Raids. AoTC is supposed to be equivalent to KSM, which is M+6-7 so it’s not far off from that point.

because you’re comparing a heroic with a beyond-mythic.

Because you don’t have people who devoted hours of their personal time to watching videos/reading guides dropping raid markers, and telling you when/where to do things (and what weak auras to download) in a GB +5. If everyone in this thread had a dedicated M+ team who did their homework, brought group consumables, and did call-outs in comms we could all be doing higher keys than we currently are.

Not really. M+ need lot of personal skill in interrupt, stun, dodge, def CD, dps CD etc. heroic raid or even mythic raid never need every player to do interrupt or stun. In high m+, almost very trash need interrupt. In high m+ boss, rotate def CD is a must but in raid, not everyone need to do all the thing in m+. So in personal level, m+ is much harder than heroic raid. Difficulty of heroic raid is everyone have their own task to do. Raid leader can call out the task to be carried out at certain time. However, in m+, not possible for leader to call out everything, everyone should know what to do except in specific occasions need someone call out for some spell order. Before raid, there is explanation. In m+, no explanation. Everyone should do the homework but most players are lazy.

I had some very bad experience doing m+ with guild group which have comms. Their performance is really bad even though comms is running. They simply don have the skill to do interrupt, stun, dodge, def CD at correct time, they can’t act swiftly.
