Its the playerbase that is causing the issue not the gearing process Blizzard has made.
The process is Heroics > Heroic Plus > Naxx 10 man > Ulduar 10 man > Ulduar 25 man
The issue is the gatekeeping via gearscore at certain points in the above process.
E.g. Players wanting 4K plus gearscore to do Heroic plus. You cannot get 4k gearscore just from heroic normals.
Effectively your stuck with finding a guild to chain run you through heroic plus ( good luck at this stage) or just give up.
Because the game forces you into it so you dont get behind with getting your tier set from the rest of the playerbase since you get over double the conquest from doing it on H+ rather than heroic.
No one is asking for free stuff. I dont know why you want to force people into this horrid content that wasnt in wrath.
Not exactly, the tool still being a godawful mess is a huge contributor.
Why on earth heroics and heroic+s don’t have their own categories is beyond understanding.
Heres a tip… Make your own group… invite people that you are confident in and run with your own group. Its that easy.

What im trying to say is build up a friends list with healers, tanks and dps, it saves you alot of time and trouble, with a social network… Im not even guided anymore, i still get to do all raids, even ulduar, people gladly ask me to step in and heal, that happens couse alot of people know me…
loot is great, friends is even better as that makes getting that loot easier !
