What is the intended way to reach that, with Normal still dropping 554 unupgradable gear?
edit: the last couple seasons of Dragonflight, Normal dropped Explorer 3 gear, which would be 564 now (and upgradable to 580). No idea why they changed it.
I think the item LVL of gear drops was increased in heroics and possibly normals.

I did a Normal to confirm it’s still dropping 554. I know Heroic drops higher now but that doesn’t matter if I can’t get in.

This has to be unintended. How am i supposed to get gear to get into heroic on alts now? Very odd

Can we get a blue explanation on this? Very frustrating to have to run many Normals to not even get the gear to get into heroics now?

It’s a dumb setup, though world quests can give 571’s, same with cache’s. And also AH sells gear you can upgrade with valorstones

Yeah but i should have to pay thousands of gold to get my alts into heroic? It makes no sense, this is never how its been in wow.

Did you get a dungeon that is not in the seasonal rotation? That might be why it isn’t explorer
It was City of Echoes, but it would be really dumb if non-seasonal dungeons in normal lfg gave worse loot.

Maybe you’re meant to upgrade normal dungeon gear to get the ilvl reqs for heroic? Other than that, WQ and delves seem like the only option I can think of other than PVP.

You can but four pieces of 584 gear from the Factions at Renown 10. These are upgradeable. You can also have 596 gear crafted with sparks.
Umm… I think I got my weapon from a weekly cache. Don’t remember.
Don’t level 80 rares drop like 577 gear?
