Just as the title states. I am trying to earn old reputations by equipping tabards and running old dungeons. Most of the Cata dungeons worked fine, but when I got to Grim Batol, I was not able to enter. Receiving the yellow text, “You must be at least level 80 to enter Grim Batol.”
I ran this two weeks ago, not sure what the change in the downloaded pre-patch content is but… it appears to have broken this dungeon.
I have the same issue man, think that Blizz is going to revamp the dungeon for current content?
More likely an error because we will be level 80 at the end of this next expansion… a break in the code perhaps.
Yeah probably some spaghetti code nonsense. Siege of Boralus is reported to be the same. Wonder if Necrotic Wake and Mists of Tirna Scithe are having the same issue.
damn, lately Blizzard has been doing some real crap, ruining old dungeons and achievements… really annoying…
I did get inside at normal setting instead of heroic after getting that error, but the whole instance seem be to have been updated even there. Mobs are different, less trash loot, many pathing and general happenings also changed.
You need to do the achievement on heroic which sucks 
Having same issue. TWW is not even officially released yet, it’s only early access. The requirements should not be placed on players prior to official release, and also the Heroic version from Cata shouldn’t start requiring level 80 even after official release. Edit: OH! And let’s add the fact that in Normal, NONE of the trash up to the first boss is dropping anything at all.
I have been trying to complete “Umbrage for Umbriss” for well over a month. Before and after the release of TWW. When I try to enter Grim Batol Heroic on any of my 80s it boots me out and tells me this dungeon requires level 80 which I am. I have sent several support tickets and each time Blizzard
Bump, I am also not able to enter heroic on a lvl 70. Is this expected behavior? Seems weird they’d break old heroic dungeons when adding them to the mythic rotation.
I’m getting the same issue trying to enter Mists of Tirna Scithe on Heroic/Mythic on my level 70… I don’t have TWW, why am I being locked out of Shadowlands content?
The season 1 dungeons for TWW are also available at level 80 on Heroic difficulty, and in fact the dungeon pool for random Heroic dungeons is locked to season 1 only (excluding the other four new TWW dungeons that aren’t s1). Thus, for the duration of this season, only their normal difficulties are available below TWW level cap.

The similar was true for many Mythic0 dungeons during Shadowlands and Dragonflight, at different points, you could not count on being able to enter older dungeons on mythic 0 difficult until you were max level. One would think they could have made dungeon finder max level heroic version a separate instance, since they will have to reverse the changes at the end of the season.
They still wanted to support people manually visiting the instance to zone in (even though hardly anyone does that anymore), so not really possible unless they’d added another dungeon difficulty selection.
So in other words “too bad, so sad” if you didn’t get Umbridge with Umbriss. REquires a geared group of 80s willing to do an old cataclysm challenge? So no mount for anyone trying to farm mounts. GG blizz.
you had 14 years to do it, you can wait a few months for season 2 to rotate it out.
I will be salty instead, lol, but yeah, just have to wait. It’s weird though because Stonecore isn’t locked out the same way.
