There is no reason a mob should hit for 20,000 damage in 0.1 seconds. How did this make it through beta?
Heh, if mobs didn’t hit for 20 thousands in 1 second it would be retail.
I guess you could say your hopes of finishing the dungeon were… crushed?
why didnt you just get gud you could have circumvented this
Easily the hardest part of the dungeon is not taking too much damage that you cant survive.
What’s the matter don’t like naked orcs punching for 7k?
Actually intended, and you should be thankful because that’s the NERFED version.
dodge?
We had to use some silly strats in Shattered Halls Heroic because if more than one mob was on the prebis tank they’d die in under a second.
Lots of stuns, frost traps, and crippling poison kiting with ranged classes “tanking.”
Reminds me a lot of when Diablo 3 had it’s “And we Doubled It” moment.
You think that’s bad? Wait till you do heroic Durnhold.
It’s a common misconception in TBC that heroics are before raids in terms of progression, since that’s the order in every other expansion.
You are intended to do karazhan before heroics. Karazhan is EASIER than heroics.
Yep Heroics were hard in TBC. Need to bring CC and get defense cap.
Actually true. This is why the Kara attune only requires normal modes but Nightbane requires heroics.
Get better gear and use your CC, debuffs, and buffs appropriately. Heroic: Blood Furnace is not intended to be easy. It is probably one of the harder of the bunch.
As someone who’s never done TBC, this is good info to have!
Get more armor?
Is this a question or a suggestion?
Unless you want the instances to be difficult. H BF is the hardest heroic.
It was pretty difficult actually to find people on Beta to do some of the heroics. I only got to do H BF once, and I was pretty active on Beta.
That dorf speaks nothing but the truth!
