There are groups 625+ ilvl that are getting absolutely smacked around silly by this raid on heroic and there is still 0 tuning for it? And you expect people to be running this until January in its current state?

Yeah, it was kinda interesting that heroic was more or less left out of the big wave of nerfs that went out yesterday. Which either means they’re leaving heroic as-is, or they’re working on nerfs that they weren’t ready to push out yet. We’ll just have to wait and see I guess.
In the meantime, I’m avoiding it regardless because I don’t want my vault slots clogged up with cruddy BRD loot that doesn’t have mastery on it.

I really wonder how they expect people to run this until January in its current state. There will be no gear progression. People 625+ are not going to magically get stronger over this event and from the raid when the raid’s gear is weaker than 625+.

They really need to switch up how the vault works.
It’s not normally an issue for raids but it is for dungeons. People want certain drops, so either they do the dungeon it drops from and literally nothing else or they screw up their chances at the thing(s) they want.
I’m currently about to do Normal BRD and the only reason I’m willing to do that is because I can go pug heroic silken court and not have to worry about what’s happening at normal raid ilvl.
You get loot from everything from dungeons anyway.
I think the season’s difficulty-reward curve had this problem before. The anniversary event just doesn’t solve it.
As it stands, the current season catapults a large skill range directly to hero vault. Many of them will stay there for the entire season.
Heroic BRD is egregiously out of line.
I’ve been trying to find this information on wowhead and elsewhere and hoping someone can shed some light on this for me. I’m coming at this from the perspective of someone who has raided before but took a break at the start of TWW and only just hit level 80, and my focus is currently just on landscape TWW and the anniversary event.
Wowhead says LFR is 30-80, but normal/heroic is 70-80… how does that make sense if it sounds like it was so hard (and heroic probably still hard if it hasn’t been nerfed yet)?
What ilvl should players be going into it with? If you’re leveling from 70+ just trying to participate in the anniversary, how are you supposed to get invited to a normal/heroic group and survive it? And even once you hit 80, you won’t have super high ilvl.
Also, what’s the lockout? Is it weekly like most raids or did they make it daily like Remix had?
Lockout is weekly. The heroic tuning is still atrocious.

the gear is meh , u can farm hero gear on +7 , the heroic raid isnt worth the effort
lfr for fresh alts is ok , normal if u dont raid HC or do +7++
The difficulty of heroic BRD for the gear it drops does not go together at all.
