Anyone buying aotc? Pug fights are hard on general, sucks though since there is no mount and less chance at loot if I buy a carry.
Why would you buy aotc if there isn’t a mount reward for it…

No reason to buy AOTC if no mount unless you wanna show off and hide you don’t actually have raid experience and got carried.

No mount, so there’s probably not a lot of buyers. If people sell it, it’ll probably cheap, so at least there’s that!
The only reason I imagine people would buy AotC is if they’re buying a heroic full clear with loot traders to gear up their alts quickly. Even that might not be so expensive since they’re losing most of the raid carry market (pvpers) to pvp vendors.
And it’s getting better every week as the conquest cap goes up, baby!
Because you can’t PUG into a normal Huntsman without linking it for some reason… Thank god I have a guild I tag along with.
The AOTC mounts are only in the last raid of the expansion. I don’t understand this topic.

You can look at someone’s profile and see their raid kill history.

I know the achieve linking is a thing but it still seems silly.

that’s not true at all. you might just have to settle for a progression group rather than expecting a free kill
I got my aotc through joining random pugs no issue, you can too if you actually put in the effort to join a (or form your own) competent group.
Personally I don’t understand why anyone would buy an AOTC, but I can kinda understand if there was a mount reward, but the fact that there is zero reward this time around, really zero reason unless you want to stoop to the lowest of lows and go around and pretend and lie that you earned AOTC and didn’t pay for it.
p.s. personally if i was that pathetic to pay my way through the game… instead i’d pay for a mythic +15 carry, at least there you’ll get a guaranteed piece of item level 226 gear from the weekly vault and a +14 key which you can easily turn around and post in group finder and easily get 1K+ io players to carry you the following week as well (for free) and get another free 226 piece of loot…

In these days you’re also being judged on your Raider IO so somehow having an AoTC or whatnot and like a 200 IO is also going to raise some eyebrows.
… It’s a joke. I thought it was common knowledge that PUG groups love to ask for ridiculous achievements for the content they are doing.
I am in a progression group though? Hence why I said I tag along with a another guild group?
Go for a progression group or maybe try a guild if you want it now.
You won’t get as many AoTC sales at the moment but there will be a ton towards the end of this patch especially after we have the whole SB tree and out gear heroic. We for example can already one shot normal very easily, it’ll be the same for heroic once all members know the mechanics.
what raises my eyebrows most is how raider.io shows a player only has something like 4/10N 1/10H but has AOTC… regardless if they have a high or low io score…
really dumb for players these days to pay for an aotc since plenty of addons these days show your raiding progression, so it becomes painfully obvious who paid for a carry…
Same goes for those who pay for a +15 dungeon carry. their raider.io shows they have completed a +15 but their score is in the gutter and every other dungeon is a +4 or something pathetic.

I’m looking for a heroic gold aotc carry for two reasons - chance for general denariius gear in the weekly vault and easier to get into pugs afterwards.
Maybe a 14 carry is a better idea though

No the gear is rolled as a percentage of the players who arent loot locked so if it is just 1 player your chance at loot is quite low.
