Thoras Trollbane. Stromgarde King, Unbroken, Flayer of Trolls.
This dude was hardcore, like some Game of Thrones Mountain kind of sadistic WoW hero. He fought off orc/troll invasions in the Dwarven lands with a small militia and was brutal.
This guy murdered your kind and orcs alike by the thousands.
Internment camps, skinned trolls alive, enslaved orcs, fed them alive to neighboring camps of insane ogres which he chose not to kill because he enjoyed how they tortured his orc/troll slaves.
You know when Alliance say “King’s Honor” - they’re talking about freaking Thoras of Stromgarde, because he saved Eastern Kingdoms twice.

I enjoyed reading your post it really brought me into the moment all that death an mayhem happened. Thank you for the Read its that Kind of Lore that really made Warcraft a fun experince.

At this point in retail the greatest hero in the history of Warcraft is the player, no?
Interesting question, I may have to think about that for a while.
You could also look at the question a couple of ways: Who is your hero in WoW? or Who is your character’s hero in WoW?
I think my character’s heroes would probably be…
[edit] Since it’s the Classic forum, my character’s hero in classic was probably, if anyone, Tirion Fordring
Beyond that: Jarod Shadowsong and Lantresor of the Blade. These characters seem like smart warriors who go their own way but also have some principle. I think that’s what my character would respect most.
I guess my hero in WoW is my main. Not that I specifically want to be an 8-ft dark elf blademaster IRL, but sometimes I like the way I treat people in-game better than how I do IRL. I’d like to be that easygoing, that accepting, and that detached.
