this will be the streamer server. streamers will go where the majority of the playerbase goes. you could however constantly as a player base report streamers and keep them squelched… just a thought

I think I might just roll the dice and go on Herod. Hopefully the streamers don’t last too long and go back to retail. It’s better than going to a Brazilian or Spanish server.

My guild and I are discussing what server to pick. We were going to Thalnos after Staysafe’s message that the streamers would not be there, but then the Brazilians said they would go there.
Does it really matter if the streamers go to Herod or Faerlina? Both servers should be equal at this point anyway (seeing as they don’t exist yet to play on), so it shouldn’t matter as long we have (ideally) one server for the streamers and their fans, one that’s for the general populace and then one for the Brazilians.
Exactly, it doesn’t matter, so streamers should have no issue staying away from herod and going to faerlina.

Or vice versa. The problem will be knowing it beforehand. So far I’ve seen that Asmon has said he’s thinking Herod and Soda has said he’s thinking Faerlina.

Streamers WILL affect you in every way, shape, and form you can possibly think of, since their legions of fans will bandwagon the server the streamer is on. We’ve seen this on the stress test, where general chat was filled entirely of the phrase “inv to asmon layer”, and literal hundreds of people surrounded the bloody neckbeard.

I feel like the people who are looking forward to playing Classic but really don’t read forums and what not are going to be rather annoyed by certain events. Can’t they just add 1 PVE and 1 PVP server for Latin America?
