Herod - The People's PvP Server

All in all, both Asmongold and Sodapoppin said they won’t reveal their realm until launch to avoid getting camped, and to get a headstart on would-be-gankers, so when Soda says Fairbanks, you know it’s not fairbanks, especially when smaller streamers who want to get points with community say otherwise.

Herod’s the betting horse.

Then they can bet on a lot of unfriendly anti-streamers on Herod making their stay less pleasant.

They’ll have that anywhere they roll.

It’s one thing to be hated on a server and get hunted down by the opposite faction, it’s another to be hated by both factions and have people on your own faction keeping track of you and post about where you are and what you’re doing at all times so the Horde/Alliance can camp you.

they have the option of NOT streaming.

Problem solved.

Yes they do, but if someone adds them on their friends list to see if they’re online or not it wont matter if they’re streaming.

honestly the smartest thingthe streamers should do is roll with the Brazilian server. their fans won’t want to follow them their, and they have each other to insulate them from the non english speakers

Unfortunately the Brazilians chose Thalnos almost entirely because the streamers said they wouldn’t go there. Everyone is trying to avoid the streamer plague. We just want a home without streamers where the primary language is English so we can communicate. Blizzard should create South American servers to solve this problem but I’m not holding my breath.

then they shouldnt play a pvp server and/or shouldn’t chase e-fame for being obnoxious. back in vanilla a group of horde players literally started a guild just to hunt me and my world pvp group down because we raided places like the crossroads and the sepulcher until high levels showed up and then killed them too. and they’d try and try and try, but almost always lose. they roleplayed as the UNDERCITY POLICE DEPARTMENT and would make forum posts about their attempted “apprehensions” of me. it was all in good fun. if these e-celebs cant handle the fire, get out of the kitchen, stop streaming, stop playing on pvp servers, stop trying to be e-famous for being obnoxious. pretty simple solutions.

Honestly they can get an experience closer to BFA on a normal server.

I agree with you, i don’t think most of them understand whats waiting for them on those pvp servers.

sadly blizzard did not see this problem sooner, and screwed up. it may be too late to add a new server to WoW classic just for south america.

content, content is what is waiting for them. Ever watch a police chase video? that is what it is going to be like for streamers on a pvp server. they want to have war all around them. it is great for views.

You do understand they’re streamers? All you need to do… is look at the stream to know what they’re doing and where they are?

Yes i do. But they can turn their stream off to get things done in game. Like asmon had to when he got attacked while trying to get the warrior quest axe.

Honestly, they’re going to pick what server they want. No post on any forum is going to change that and no one will know what server they choose either. Your best course of action is the following:
1 Choose a Coast
2 Choose 3 Coast Servers
3 Log in Monday and reserve your name
4 Live your life for the remaining days
5 Upon launch day turn on Sodapoppin or Asmongold’s stream and choose whichever out of your 3 picks they’re not on.

You only need to avoid those two streamers. The meh tier streamers and streamers trying to stay in the spotlight like Tipsout ect. will flock to those servers. Yes, other servers will have streamers but it will not be as bad as the community Sodapoppin and Asmongold have to offer.

Enjoy launch!

The other 2 servers will have non English speakers on them. you ever play a game with people you need to talk to but can’t? You ever spend 5 minutes on illidan, or get grouped with someone in a dungeon from one of the Spanish speaking servers?

East coast only has 3 servers. we don’t have room for the streamers

I guess, not that it concerns me, I’m playing the game for myself. Don’t care if any streamers are on my realm.

That’s fine, honestly i’m going wherever my guild goes. If we do end up going to a streamer sever there will at least be a lot of world pvp which is what i’m after anyway.
