Herod Queue takes longer than MC clearing

Seriously, why is the queue for the most populated servers taking longer than a decent guild would take to clear MC? My guild isn’t even on those servers and the queue really causes them to lose a lot of time leveling. People with a job are already at a disadvantage for raiding, so why would you let it stay much worse than it would be without the queues? Buffing MC and Ony to pre-nerf levels while compensating for the better classes and hardware would also be great for the experience. Is your plan to count on the serious players quitting once they steamroll an undertuned MC and Ony in order to eliminate the queues? Just let more players on the servers until you get the transfer thing working.

Faerlina has a bigger queue. Since all the streamers play there.

That doesn’t change the point of this post. Herod queue during prime time is still going to be longer than an MC clear by a decent guild.

Probably. I play on Herod as well. I just try to log in early then stay logged in.

If only there was other servers to play on…

Yea, and those people would have to start over without the transfers.

Transfers are coming. Give it a couple days

What’s interesting. I’m on Herod and get in early morning so never have a queue. I occasionally get kicked out at lunch or dinner. The first 3-4 days after launch I could be afk 20-25 minutes before getting kicked.

I just ate dinner and was diligent to get up and hit the space bar every 10 minutes for almost an hour. I assumed the kick point was 15 minutes now. They must have changed it because I just got kicked after being afk for exactly 11 minutes! The kick comes after 10 minutes now.

Rerolling at this point isn’t a big deal at all.

That’s not the point. It still punishes people by making them lose hours of progress.

Same I got kicked a few day’s ago cooking dinner. I was running and checking like every 10 mins hitting some keys and jumping. To try and stay logged in. Only to come back to a disconnect screen. This was two days ago. I now check every 5 mins.

Well they are doing free transfers soon but everyone acting like there’s no way out is a tad dramatic.

What Guldukat said (BTW nice name)

Reroll somewhere else guys. At this point I have a hard time understanding why you continue to wait in a queue for a server that is obviously full. Did you just happen to be unlucky and pick a really bad server on launch day or did you intentionally pick a High/Full Server to roll on when you picked up the game?

The time you’ve wasted waiting are hours you could have spent playing/rerolling on a low/medium pop server with NO wait at all.

The answer is in the first part of the question. The queue takes longer on more populated servers because the server is more populated.

I don’t think this word means what you think it means.

It’s unacceptable because they are able to increase the amount allowed on the servers and were able to do it from the start, but they only did it for 30% when they could’ve EASILY done it for 100%+.

They were trying to encourage the player base to SPREAD OUT instead of jumping in the first PvP server with a high population. Some folks don’t seem to get that though…

What planet are you on that it’s reasonable for a queue to play the game to take longer than clearing the highest content in the game?

Because people keep waiting in them instead of playing elsewhere. I hope I cleared that up for you.

See my response above your reply.

The reason the queues are high is because people are stubbornly waiting in them instead of rolling somewhere else like they SHOULD be doing to even out the player base.
