no you don’t, as long as you keep going into create new charcater and back to main screen you don’t get kicked. been logged in for like 3 hours now.

Well if that is the case, the question now is. Will Herod break 10k queue before launch? 
Didn’t blizzard said it would have a long que, why are people surprised?
Am curious how you found the queue numbers. Where can you see that?
One of the EU servers has a 22,000 queue right now Firemaw

Whitemane had a queue of about 3.8k. I’m currently 1955 in line with about a 10 minute wait.

Just select Herod on your realm list and you will be put in the queue, cancel the request and select your own realm again.

Yep. Or you can create a new toon every 10 minutes and delete the ones you don’t like later.
So Blizzard never told players they could get to the front of the queue by logging early. Then go to create character and back to avoid 30 minute timeout. 
Stalagg already has a 10k queue…
The reboot before launch will fix that
