Herod - 130+ Minute Queue

Dear Blizzard,

Great job taking away layers AND allowed hundreds of multi-boxxing bots to roll on the already full Herod! Now we have 2 hour queues on weeknights AND we get to fight for resources and questing with countless Mage bots. Truly the experience we were all looking forward to when we begged and pleaded for Classic WoW!

But seriously, turn the layers back on already and close the server to new accounts. Do SOMETHING so we can play this game that we’ve all been craving for years.

yup, whitemane just hit 200 mins almost 3000 ppl

I get it, you don’t want to leave your server, I would of left mine a while back if I didn’t make good connections in my current guild, Those free Xfers were available not to long ago for a while, Lots of servers that have good players that need more people and if you find a good guild you don’t notice lowish population as much, Although my server Anathema could use a boost or a merge.

It’s a shame but you did have multiple weeks to take those free transfers.

Get out of here with that. Most of us have been here since day 1 and we’re not leaving. There’s plenty of solutions that don’t concern you if you’re not on Herod. You have no ground to stand on thinking you can scold us for playing on Herod

Even before Classic launched Blizzard warned that Herod would have queues. You have only yourself to blame for staying.

Allowing new character creation & transfer caused this mess. The queues are not full of active, actual people - it’s all these RWT bots, it must be, and this is insane. We need layers back if they won’t figure out how to protect us from these accounts that abuse the in-game economy.

Queues are one thing, queues to this extent are an entirely different matter. Especially since the people taking up valuable slots are botters and multiboxers - who may also be botting - and a lot of people who don’t log out to avoid the queue entirely.

Blizzard can also increase the server cap for these servers. They’ve already done so before.

Thank you for your input Karen. Our queues were gone for months, then other servers started dying and we got a ton of transfers. Plus Corona made tons of people come back to the game.

Layering on Herod is of no concern to you on Grobbulus

Classic is about community and you’re telling us the only way to not sit in 2hours queue is to leave that community, effectively defeating the main drive for this game. A lot of people is gonna stop playing when you have to log on and sit by your computer 2,3 hours before you can actually play.

I just got home from work 1.5 hr before my raid starts, can’t even make it on for that. 2 layers was working just fine, I don’t understand why you didn’t just leave it like that when obviously the same servers were going to continue to have issues.

Also if you re-enable them, give us a button to swap them on a CD so we dont have to pay/beg for layer swaps. Sincerely, paying customer who can’t currently get access to the product.

Blizzard,

It’s obvious that layers need to be turned back on for select realms - examples would be Herod and Whitemane. Multi-hour long queues are killing the experience and actually creating obstacles for players of all types – raiders, pvpers, casuals, whatever.

Please consider turning layering back on for us.

Then i suppose youre sitting in a queue

I blame myself for choosing the best server in all of classic. Oh woe is me that people are just starting to realize this truth and want a piece of the action.

it’s very frustrating having to come home after work and want to play and then sit for an hour or more… it’s not fun like this and then having to deal with a million horde haha but more specifically we need layer back

Submitting platform users to absurd queues like these is disrespectful to players. Not just because we pay to play, but in the way Blizzard views our experience with the game. Most of the classic players are nostalgic players (I suppose) and they divide that time between work, family and other activities.
It is disrespectful to force players to wait for hours and play at inappropriate times, as they need to work the next morning and also, due to work, not be able to log in early.
Blizzard being a technology company, already good until Actvison bought and ruined WOW. WTF Create a solution … Use Bots that prohibit unfair behavior on the layers. Because good players are being punished because Blizzard cannot solve these problems.
It just shows the incompetence and disrespect for the players …

The only complaint for layering was world buff coordination which everyone got used to and then layering was turned off. You know what’s worse then missing out on a world buff? Literally not being able to play the game you pay for at all because you cant monitor queue times 100% of the time away from the game. From the time the queue starts on herod, you have about an hour till it hits 2-3 hour wait time.

Bring back layers and have world buffs hit all layers to solve all issues or just bring back layers the way they are. Why are you guys so determined to favor queue times over layers?

Or just git rid of world buffs

And World bosses spawns becoming a nightmare, and crippling the economy with things like multi layer BL farming. Small things i suppose

but a year ago it was no one wants Layering it’s stupid and will ruin the game play

I would just stop playing and paying my sub if I could not get past the queues. Which is what people are doing.
