*** Fixed with weekly reset *** TY Blizz
As I’m sure many others did, finished BT timewalking raid quest early in the week and got a hero track helm that can’t be used in the catalyst. Completed on alts today and their hero track items are able to be used, so it was obviously fixed but not applied to existing items.
Is there any chance the existing items get fixed in the patch or are we stuck with hero items we cant turn into tier?

Yeah, this really is an issue if they aren’t going to fix the pre-hotfix gear.
Mainly because it sends a very clear message to players: Don’t play the game for about the first week of a new patch because if you encounted bugged loot they’ll only fix it for people that haven’t gotten gear yet. Everyone who played in the first few days can kick rocks, that’ll teach ya.
Really not a good message.
I ended up using catalyst charge on a champion track item hoping it’ll be fixed when we get the next charge with reset but time will tell I guess.
They didn’t fix any of the world content rewards which took a lot longer to do than that raid …
They did a hotfix to make the world drops start dropping correctly, as well as the TW dungeon cache fix and the retroactive fix for world content drops working in catalyst would’ve come through with the patch as well - when I checked my helm I noticed world content drops in my bag became available to use as well.
none of mine are usable and I checked again today
I just checked the character I am playing and I have a 493 shoulder gear which was probably from the time walking and/or BT raid cache that still can’t be used in the catalyst and a 480 chest from the world event that isn’t able to be converted either.
I have already checked about 4 characters this week and none are.
