It would be pretty cool to see Feral and Balance specialisations together, the name could be something like “Fangs of Elune”. The specialisation can receive a new form, which can bring back Saberon forms or new Wolf forms. Attacks will be less about bleeds but possibly arcane DoTs and big attacks that can also support party members similar to an Augmentation Evokar.
This is just my two cents in the new specialisations, it would be cool to hear everyone else’s feedback.

if they did that they would also have to make a guardian/ resto tree which would be kind of nice.

The saddest thing would be that the Guardian/Resto tree would just be an excuse to give Bears back Adaptive Swarm.

ya would be kind of throwing out more healing / giving out externals more. would pretty much be a prot pally in bear form at that point.
Honestly druid should have 3 hero trees per spec, as one thing I noticed is druid is being treated as a class without 4 specs. As shown by the talent trees and hero trees now.
Plus Druid is the only one without all their specs connected, the two dps as this thread made think not being connected is weird and might actually severely make feral even weaker in content then it already is.
But sadly blizzard gives in to the treated special mindset when it comes to balancing druid, when it’s so untrue. x3 It’s going to rear it’s ugly head once other classes potentially get a 4th spec.

Do explain how simple it would be to balance twice as many hero trees than every other class? And there’s no synergy between Balance and Feral. It doesn’t make sense to connect every spec together.
Lunar inspiration and technically we have more synergy with balance then we do resto considering all the balance spells feral gets but can’t use in form (Would be cool if they found a way to mix it), also technically it would be only two more trees. Also resto guardian would be cool, imagine you can toss heals to other party members while tanking without breaking form. Also we can only pick 1 hero tree so why not?
Still if you look at things like how many points we get for our class trees, 30 points 10 for each spec? If you think about it lol.
Lol when have they ever worked on Feral besides trying to make it dead last in every piece of content. But they should connect all the specs, cause every other class gets that. So you think we deserve to be the odd ones out? To hit rock bottom dps in every piece of content again next expansion because other classes get connected to two dps specs with their hero trees.

Tell me how they are then being so wanted for every piece of content over like demon hunters, plate classes that can wield the legendary, rogues, mages, monks, their 3 specs, etc.? Also Feral hasn’t moved up past 20 for dps rankings Amidrissal logs for 15 weeks, also bfa/shadowlands/Dragonflight every raid we were bottom of the barrel.
Sure at the start of Dragonflight we were at least better then balance druids for a little bit and amazing in M+ but now lol. xD Oh please tell me what content we are so good in that people don’t want anything but feral druids unless it’s a friend group? Because you can’t lol, we got a buff in 10.2.1 that did nothing for our placement because of how behind we are on other classes. We are behind in pvp because we are squishy and our healing is nerfed compared to all three of our other specs.
I mean yes it is against synergy but because feral has to grab those spells, they could literally make a Hero Talent tree that focused on lunar inspiration where you can cast the spells in cat form and empower them in some way since we have to pick them up anyways. As I know some liked the boomkin weaving to squeeze out damage and hey would be cool to have something cater to those players.

Yea I don’t see the issue, every spec gets 2 trees, if every Druid spec got 3 trees that is inequitable, and gives all of those specs a big advantage having a 3rd potential tree for certain situations / extra chance of high-rolling an OP tree.
They will probably add new Hero trees in the subsequent two xpacs and could see a Feral-Balance link there.

Well if we’re going to play this game, you can add EVERY spec outside of meta to that list. Even with Legendaries, people aren’t seeking out Warriors or DK’s.

Lol all of those still prove my point, Abberus was inflated cause only one or two fights feral could do well in and the rest being single target. The rest Feral is below 10 and 16 percent.
Castle nathria was the first time our niche of being the spec with the roar, was given to Balance and Resto. Everyone wanted Balance for that raid cause of one fight and inflated numbers plus them being range helps, Sepulcher nothing for Feral to really cleave onto and you only needed one druid spec so lol and monk. Vault of the incarnates, sure we were wanted at first but eventually nah cause we were primarily single target and considering other classes were already doing upwards of 400k damage at the start. Demon Hunters and Enhancement Shamans, Feral’s eh about 120k if you were really good and the gap hasn’t closed at all.
Sanctum ranged was wanted more of cause of the plates boss and how much you had to move away from the bosses and primarily single target so feral being AoE with bite spam feral was not wanted.
The recent Wowhead post shows DK’s as the top damage dealer and honestly DK’s and Warriors are always wanted even when doing below damage. Warrior stam buff to survive mechanics and well don’t have to say the raid damage boost like mages int one. xD Though I will admit Fury is in the same position as Feral, as Arms tends to always be sought after more. But DK’s deserve to be in that spot after being so low too.
DK’s can cheese adds and help pass such phases quicker with their grasping abilities. Blood DK’s being insane with their magic shield for their entire group and being able to upkeep and heal themselves.
Also you only need to look at the class, druid gets the least amount of bottom nodes and their bottom nodes are non impactful when you compare it to every other class. Feral is the only one with a build a bear style on their burst, when almost every other class only has to put one point and get the full effectiveness of their burst.
Our convoke was nerfed giving only 4 combo bites now, instead of 5 when now that is biting us lol and even we can’t mix AoE and Single target like other classes. xD I can’t really comment to much on PvP in Shadowlands, it’s true we were fairly strong there at least until the mid/end of the xpac but eh.
I want justice for Feral, but do I believe blizzard is ever going to do that? No not with their current philosophy and favoring burst classes. The logs show a lot but they don’t tell you everything, unless you experience it yourself.
PuG and find out just how unwanted ferals are, that Blizzard hasn’t wanted to fix the problem for a long time. xD Considering we still have a beta tree with a few band aids and Guardian didn’t get a fix until 10.1 for their spec tree goes to show their views well enough. Honestly just wanted to suggest cool hero talents, cause honestly connecting every spec for druid wouldn’t harm the game only improve it.

Out of the last 6 raids, the only one to hold any truth to your claims is this last raid tier.
Well spouting off hyperboles and extremes when there’s data readily available to disprove all of your claims isnt the way to go about it.
If you think they struggle to balance and give druids 4 specs attention, what do you think is going to happen when you try to increase the workload on a single spec by another 50% ? Not that i’m against the idea, just food for thought.
99% of the forums requests are put up without any actual thought put into them.
