Hero of Shattrath Question

I figured I would use this Timewalking week to gather enough Arcane Tomes to reach Exalted on Scryers and then turn in Dreadfang Venom Sacs to get back to Neutral with Aldor. But I went to the NPC where you turn those in (Sha’nir in Lower City) and she doesn’t have the quest marker ! anymore and when you talk to her there’s no option to turn these in. Anyone know if this is even still possible?

EDIT: I just tried on a different toon, going from Aldors to Scryers. That is working and there’s an NPC to turn in Dampscale Basilisk Eyes. But Scryer to Aldor is apparently bugged.

It’s been over a decade, but I sorta, kinda, vaguely have a faint hint of a memory that you probably need to do the whole ‘welcome to Shattrath, now pick a side’ quest chain first before you can change sides. You might have skipped some of it and just jumped into the Scryers grind without choosing them first.

Yes, definitely did that first. You have to pick a side before you can begin. As indicated, I think this is a bug. It works when you go Aldor to Scryer but you can’t go from Scryer to Aldor.
