For anyone who remembers during Legion when the previews of Nightborne and Void Elf heritage armor models and the weapons that wowhead showcased. They also did this with Light Forged and Dark Iron Dwarfs and had weapons and shield models that matched their armor. Any explanation why they didn’t add these to the game or any Blizzard employee/former know what ever happened and do you think they add them into the game at some point?

Thankfully there’s a plethora of weapon choices so that it’s hard to not find something that works, but I wouldn’t mind being able to obtain Allied Race weapons.

For the Nightborn, there’s really only a few weapons that, “work,” with their heritage armor and its frustrating.
The pink or purple is always off just slightly.

Future Expansion pre-purchase bonus. Just in case they run out of Races and Heritage Armors.

They probably had a handful of extra quests planned for the weapons but they didn’t get implemented by the cutoff time and as a result got scrapped. Surely they could at least stick them on a vendor in the races’ home areas though, because that’s something an intern could do in an evening before going home.
The only other thing that makes sense is that they have some other plans for unlocking them that don’t make sense to reveal yet.

It would be very cool to have heritage weapons, especially in cases like the Night Elves, where there is a style that immediately leaps to mind, namely glaives and also the Warden’s crescent.
This is something that could be added later, I suppose.

it’s great concept but super biased to certain proficiency.
Also a huge workload to continue to implement them to all the other races that deserve items, and multiple types for each race?
That’s a lot of work, that being said it would look amazing but it’s also very unrealistic to implement.
There are no totem two handers so all weapons are terrible.
