SPOILER WARNING THE BLUR WAS GLITCHING WHEN I TRIED TO BLUR IT.

I’m gonna do the Draenei chain tomorrow and I’ll get back to you. Having done the Darkspear Questline I can tell you this, it was fun and felt good to hang out with the Darkspear again. Loved how they updated us on the situation with Mue’zala and Bwonsamdi, and visiting STV and Echo Islands is always a great, fighting on the pillars, Rokhans new character model all well and great.

That said they didn’t really tell us much about how the Darkspear have been doing out side of not having Loa yet. They completely left out Vol’Jin and despite throwing it back to the Shadowlands stuff with Bwonsamdi and Mue’zala they basically pretended Vol’Jin didn’t exist and gave us no updates on our dead leader who is currently pending rebirth as a Loa of some kind in a Wildseed. They didn’t lay any ground work at all for future plots for the Darkspear, they stomped all over the lore for one of our loas Lukou, (they did give us a cool new loa (Kevo Ya sidi). They also made our characters personally responsible for making that disgracefully fugly mask. Rokhan stole our killing blow in glorious fashion, and they didn’t even bother to update Rokhans model in Orgrimmar to match the new model. Also when visiting Echo isles Vol’Jin still appears to be alive and while in the hut right next to where they left the new altar to our new Loas.

Overall it gets a 5/10 for being fun and creative but lost a lot of points for [spoiler]a failure to deliver an update on the most interesting lore thing the Darkspear had going for them (Vol’Jins rebirth), and a failure to set up a future plot for us.

Draenei questline was longer, more detailed and felt like an actual love letter to the fans.

Troll one had some strange narrative decisions made, that makes you all confused. Darkspears got new made up loa, instead of getting those that were in RPG books.
Lukou was there but was completely miscaracterised and I’m not impressed.
Troll questline despite overall being fun and having Rokhan having his moments felt shallow.
I wish there was someone in the Blizzard that loved trolls, who would want to cram as many fun stuff as possible.
So in terms of questline quality it’s on pair with heritage armor - missing the mark.

The Draenei heritage quest is probably the best out of all the heritage quests. It was as near as they could get to perfect. Whoever wrote it is clearly a big fan of the Draenei and knows Draenei lore well.

The troll one was fairly middling. It wasn’t awful, but it also wasn’t great.
