When you’re doing those quest at level 50 the content hits you hard and luckily I was playing a class with heals otherwise I would’ve died more times then I can count.
Which race and class are you doing?
I had no problems on my Human Monk. Nor on my Orc DK.
Druid balance
If I was on a arcane mage I would’ve been dead many times over.
Night Elf? I did that on a mage and yes I almost died a few times even with the ‘tank escorts’ not doing anything…
Yes, the night elf heritage questline.
I don’t have any NElves, but I feel your pain. Any BM hunter that has done the questline to get Hati back can tell you, the final fight is a killer.
I was massively undergeared and died again and again and again. .
Balance druid couldn’t deal with 3 or more mobs repeatedly ganging up on me.
If it wasn’t for a DK who came by, i would have tabled it for a while.
I don’t know why they would let level 50s do the content when it’s so painful to deal with and yes I finally got it on my third try while being a 50.
I think they just messed up the nelf one. All heritage is lvl 50 and I had no problem with Human or Orc.
A little bit of challenge is fun, but the mobs respawn far too quickly.
The worst one for me is the mag’har, killing that shade of Gul’Dan is painful and I stink at it so bad. Trying to get it for the wife’s account with an arcane mage and just can’t do it, but she’s not 70 yet, I think I’ll get her to 70 and try again and see if I’m any better, lol.
I did struggle with it when I did it on my account with a DH too, took a few tries and looking up tips.
As for the Nelf one, both my character and wife’s character were level 70, so easy, can’t imagine what it’s like doing lower level, sorry OP.
Glad I learn my lesson the first time though and didn’t run ahead of the NPCs with the wife’s character, like I did with mine, ha.
my level 62 balance Druid is stuck on this…if I die many more times there’s really no point…I honestly can’t be THAT undergeared!
I died at level 40 on one of the allied race quests after multiple mobs respawned on me. And when you died, you rezed nowhere near where you died, with no indication of how to get back there.
That was my experience with the night elf quest. By the time I got back the mobs had respawned to full strength …
