Heritage Armor Question

I’m not sure about something - can you clarify?

I know you can’t get heritage armor for the first time on a boosted character. What if you have a second character of the same race and boost them?

For example, my friend has two vulpera. He leveled one and got the heritage armor. He is thinking about boosting the other one but wants the heritage armor on that one too (since the armor is only per character).

Can he boost or does he level (since he already unlocked the armor by following all the rules for the first character?)

Thanks!

Really? That’s rather odd since the armor comes from an account bound achievement. Does that mean the set is locked from boosted characters or something?

Heritage is account-wide. When the first vulpera got it now all of your vulpera can use it too, regardless of level. No need to unlock it again, it should be in your appearances.

Yes you get the heritage armor. If he boosts or creates another character the armor is now available to any vulpera. You only need to unlock it once. Boosting doesn’t matter if it’s already unlocked…you just cannot boost to “obtain” it but once obtained its yours and you can boost to your hearts desire you can still go to an xmog vendor and use that heritage style. I leveled up VE on a priest, unlocked heritage armor, then Race Changed my Mage to VE and he uses Heritage Armor with no problem.

Yeah, there are no restrictions on it (besides being race-specific) once you’ve unlocked it.

Thank you all so much!!!

It’s not. The armor is account-wide.

The look of the armor is account wide. The transmog is account wide. The armor itself is per character.
