The community. The devs. The creators of the Warcraft universe. The jerk who ninja’d that MC gear back in vanilla. The gamers who never gave up on this game. The engineers and mods and everyone that works to keep it going.
Here’s to you.
The ones who push for change. The ones who log in so they can escape. The ones who logged into those incredibly long AVs and the ones who rush AV now. The ones who remember original RFC and the ones who stormed through it on the Siege of Orgimmar. The ones who are STILL farming for Mim’s Head from Ulduar or that blasted second glaive from Illidan in BC.

The ones who bought the Gigantique Bag because I NEEDS THOSE ACHIEVEMENT POINTS in BC. The ones who still farm on Halfhill. The ones who still drop by their class hall because “it’s been awhile”. The ones who died in the fire to Deathwing. The ones who waited in those midnight lines to get the physical, multi-disc copy of the game and every expansion until those stopped. The ones who don’t leave after a single wipe on a boss and the ones who do. The ones who play the game for freedom from life and the ones who play the game to enhance life.

Every last one of you, thank you. For every experience I’ve had in this game, from the game being down for DAYS at the beginning to the one hour reset feeling eternal when it gets bumped an extra hour, it’s been one hell of a journey so far.
