It comes into the game, It comes into the forums, Why do people keep coming to us to tell us FFXIV is so great, If it was so Great why are they coming here to tell me instead of playing it? If I wanted to play it, I’d go play it… I’m playing WoW because I want to play WoW

I skipped WoD to play FFIV. There are some good things about FF, there are also bad things of course. It boils down to what you are looking for in a game. I went back and fourth for months on which game I would play. In the end I chose WoW.
Two things I will give credit to FF. Their crafting system is way better and I liked the fact I can switch my class at anytime. No need to reroll and do all the questing and story again. A simple weapon switch and boom, new class.

People are hoping this game will get more entertaining. Voicing their frustrations is how they communicate their disappointment. Stating what they like from other games often times is one way they’d hope this game picks up some of that and keeps them playing. Still feel free to dismiss them as haters or whatever. I’m sure more monetization is what WoW really needs…hic!

These FF fans are obnoxious. I gave the game a try, didn’t like it, and they are insistent about how awesome the game is and if I don’t like it then there is something wrong with me.

60 boosts would sell well at this point.
leveling to 60 has 2 frustrations. Slow boat story or TOF and leave you leveing fate in the hands of 4 strangers in dungeon all the way till 60.
then its the 60 gear up. the gear up of pain and suffering…
at least a 60 boost would remove that always fun “damn…I think I have 4 people who have never run necrotic ever. outstanding…”. I like at least 2 good for it. its better than 4 people messing up the hook shot
I mean at this point, the people that are complaining about FF14 are the ones making all of the FF14 posts lol.

FF is a fun game to casually mess around in. I can’t imagine anyone that plays MMOs at a serious level actually quitting WoW to play it. Like people that frequently mythic+, PvP and mythic raid would be bored to tears if they tried it. Nowhere near the same level of challenge that WoW gives.
But if you care more about the world, the story, and enjoy playing MMOs at a more casual pace without much focus on end gam or challenging content, FF is a great game.
Players could play both if they wanted to. Not sure why some people feel the need to drag WoW on the way out.

so they probably ARE playing it…AND posting about it…just like I do when Im playing ESO
and they WANT to WANT to play WoW, guy…just how some of you cant figure this crap out amazes me.
it doesnt take Freud to analyze that if theyre in here complaining, they WANT to be able to ENJOY PLAYING the game…and arent.

Same reason why we see players making hundreds of posts every day about how great the game is and how everybody who thinks it isn’t is wrong/always hated it/whatever. But if they have time to write dozens of posts about how great the game is, why aren’t they playing it?
It took me a long time to appreciate your art.
They need to keep telling themselves and everyone else that It’s good, because in reality it’s just another janky anime game.
The feeling I get from those that love FF14 and from watching videos of it on Youtube is that it is catered more to casual players who like to play alone. One of them I watched even came out and said it’s more like a single player game with multiplayer capability. And it all makes perfect sense since a lot of players who complain about WOW around here are solo players who hate playing with others. I’m glad that they have a game that more caters to their tastes. Just stop trying to turn my game into that. I have no interest in playing it.

I get what you are saying but I’m not sure I can agree with it completely. Hard to play solo in that game. While leveling, you are forced into group content and at endgame, pretty much anything of note is group content as well.
