This is probably common knowledge, but for those who don’t know and enjoy playing with the Final Reckoning talent here is a macro I’ve been using.
It casts Final Reckoning on yourself so that you don’t have to actually target the ground. Final Reckoning has a fairly large AoE so as long as you’re in melee range it should hit the pack you are fighting.
/cast [@player] Final Reckoning

You can in theory also press ALT to cast it on yourself.

An alternative is /cast [@cursor] Final Reckoning to make it quickcast mode.

You can also just do @target to make it cast on your target.
H’m. I tried @target and it didn’t work, only @player did.
Maybe I had a typo and didn’t notice it. I’ll have to retest next time I’m in game.
Is this able to be inserted into a cast sequence?

Hm, seems blizzard killed that functionality at some point in the last few years… I used to use an @target macro when I played my DK during Cata and MoP for Death and Decay but it doesn’t work for them anymore either, so I spoke too soon I guess…
I guess Blizz thought that made things too easy, or it was just another “fun detected” moment.
Reticle spells cannot be cast @target
only @player
and @cursor
