Here's a question for the anti-housing folks

Transmog isn’t required, yet that feature isn’t tied to player power.

Also wasn’t a key feature.

I do wanna know how they would tie housing to raiding, like why would any raid boss give a flying rodent’s donkey about it?

I cannot fathom how the house, not like the garrison, that has no power attached to it, work.

How would you assume this would work?

Of all the things you can find out on Housing, Blizzard KNOWS that if they screw up housing, it’s going to lash back at them harshly

I said block words there is an addon called badboy and its extension bad boy cc cleaner you can black list words related to politics and never see the chat ever

Not really, no. Everything required is important, but not everything important is required.

Case in point: Haptic feedback triggers for the PS5. Not required for the experience of playing on a PS5, but a central component of Sony’s advertising model for the hardware, so important nonetheless.

This probably doesn’t work in the way you think it does.

Because I can pull out my Wrath of the Lich King box right now and see that Death Knights were clearly highlighted as a central component to that expansion.

Earthen were highlighted right next to Delves on TWW’s product webpage.

Never knew! Thanks

That’s the best part about it; if you look at it and say I want nothing to do with this you just don’t engage with it. It’s an MMO, you’re not going to like everything in the game. There’s tons of people out there that play for no other reason than to mog, collect, farm, make gold, level characters, and soon to pretty up a house in a virtual world. These people tend to play MMOs, especially WoW, because it gives them a bunch of stuff they can work towards, and the content really never dries up so they are perpetually working on doing something.

Really the only argument against player housing might be that because it’s such a massive investment (at least initially) other content, especially in Midnight, may suffer as a result, but it’s been in an incredibly long development cycle so that’s probably not true unless you want to argue that some of the recent expansions suffered due to the resources it pulled.

its a life saver I use it for anything related to selling carries and haven’t seen one posted by a bot in chat in months as long as the key word is blacklisted the chat simply does not exist if it contains it I think cc cleaner is the blacklist and bad boy the base version is aimed at spam

Coulda sworn the Cataclysm box literally says “key features” on it then list the things new with it, which included both Worgen and Goblin. I’ll have to dig it out of the storage to see if I’m remembering correctly

Why are you hiding on a classic alt? Just curious. You get benched?

Probably worried that his house interior not being green will make him lose 20% of his DPS

But green is my favorite color.

You can goto any house in any city and sit there for free lmao

Sorry but green interior isn’t meta for your class, had to be red or gold or your DPS is tanked.

And you need at least seven Goblin chairs for 5% more VERSATILITY

He does it to hide from the boogeymen who harassed his guild.

Even though it’s literally the same exact name as his retail toons lmao

I’m not anti-housing I just really do not care. I probably won’t get housing unless it’s forced to get gear which they probaly will do for metrics.

Anti-housing folks?

Jesus Christ, whoever started the arbitrarily defined key feature vs expansion feature conversation need to make contact with vegetation

Yeah if it’s not a raid or PvP must be useless. Guy claims because WoW did the Garrison that it (housing) would follow suit when Blizzard knows if they did it like that again they’d lose a good chunk of subs.

I think he gave up, lol

As if there are loads of people in Stormwind outside of RP realms. In fact, I hope it kills the city populations, especially on RP realms.
