Blizzard why are Dreamfoil just as difficult to find as Black Lotus. FIX THE HERB SPAWN RATE! I’m ready to drop this profession since some herbs are impossible to find due to bots!

I find quite a few in the plaguelands. I don’t herb as much in felwood, but I find them there too. I have never seen a lotus, it is preposterous to say they are as hard to find as black lotus.

This is a consequence of your server choice. I rolled on a lower pop sever, so I am raking in many herb spawns because there is low competition.
There is nothing to fix, your inability to find herbs is most likely due to your server choice.
This. Dreamfoil is no problem, it’s mountain silversage and plaguebloom supply that can’t meet the demand.
Not to mention that major mana potion is farmed endlessly from DM:N so that further reduces the cost of dreamfoil.
Not so true. DM:E can be duo’d fairly easy by anyone.

By lasher farming, lol. You kill all lashers, and then herb in peace.

Ehh, there’s about 3-4 Dreamfoil nodes per run. Totally not worth duoing for dreamfoil unless you’re killing bosses and such too.
Well, yeah. Vendor loot, disenchants and mining is part of the overall routine.

But 1 of the dreamfoil nodes is directly behind a Lash (not lashers) and the others can be grabbed without killing anything lol, as long as you can maneuver around all the other mobs. Lashers aren’t really an issue with Dreamfoil, just a couple gromsblood nodes.
While what you say is true, lasher farming is what makes the run profitable. Yes, nova won’t make a priest get more dreamfoils per run, but it will make the gph of the run competitive. If I didn’t have nova, I wouldn’t bother, and would do Mara princess runs instead.
Lasher farming has been nerfed though, they drop almost nothing these days.
That’s not true. They drop herbs including dreamfoil, greens, BoE epics, and expensive vendor greys. The lasher gold contribution to a run is significant. It is nerfed compared to the early vanilla versions, true, but it’s still decent, if you complement it with herbing.
Uhh when was the last time you farmed them? They don’t drop that stuff now. I won’t say never, but as close to never as you can get without being never lol
Edit to that that I do roughly 10-15 DME runs a day, killing about 30 lashers total each run and I got some whipper root tuber once, that was it. Beyond that I get some heart of the wild and raw black truffle. That’s about it.
By looking at the loot table, I would estimate that 30 lashers would contribute about 6-8GpH ignoring additional herb drops, if you DE greens. 60 lashers would be significant.
For 30 lashers, you would expect approximately 0.42 greens to drop.
I’ve killed hundreds at this point and I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a green. Only herb I remember getting was a golden sansam. That’s it. I can’t imagine a scenario at this point in the game where they’re worth farming.
If it’s .42 greens for 30 lashers (average per run) I’d expect to see a green every two-three runs. I’ve never seen any that I recall. I’m pretty sure that loot table is outdated.
Just to add I’m really curious now. I’d love to hear from more people who actually still farm these. My experience has been they drop virtually nothing since the nerf.
Edit: Pre-nerf I got loads of greens and blind weed and dreamfoil. But I see none of that now.
