Herb/Mining and Skin/LW for Druid and Evoker

Hey so I reduced my character roster to just 4 main characters. I got a Pandaren Monk, Evoker, Pandaren Shaman, and Night Elf Druid. I will be going Alch/Inscrip for my Monk and JC/Enchant for my Shaman. Now I was wondering what combo would be best for my Evoker and Druid. I’m thinking Herb/Mining for Druid because of instant flight form but then I heard Guardian Druid is also really good for skinning. I want to hear from y’all what would benefit me more a Druid Skinner or Flyer.

For those who are curious to see what others say on the Reddit post.

An herb/miner would make sense, those crafters need a source of mats. Herb/mining go well together from their manner of gathering. Just some easy flyin around an enjoying the scenery.

Druid + herbing/mining is the traditional answer. If you’re going to fly around in the traditional way then that’s the best thing for you.

If it was ME though, I’d pick tank+skinner. But I’d do certain specific things. If you’re not willing to do those things then it’s not worth it. It’s really more of a question of “how hard are you going to go into crafting?” If your answer is “not that much” then go the safe route and pick herb/mining.

What I would do: commit to doing wolf/bee farming at least one hour per week (preferably two), commit the alch to do thaumaturgy over flask/pot first.

Because skinning gives the highest material gather rate per hour, this is the best candidate for transmuting to the other mats. It’s really the only feasible way to do high volumes of crafting. If you need 1000s of ore for JC? No worries! Transmute leather and scales and the transmutagens and you have 1000s of ore of all types. And also herbs and cloth and storm dust.

Not only that, Wolf/bee farm gives you a bee mount after a few hours. You can get a second mount with cracking shards, which requires you to kill lots of creatures. You also get a metric f** ton of greens to disenchant. And also you get infinite writhing sample or spores, whichever is your preference.

You can get the two mounts without skinning but then you’re just mindlessly killing mobs for no reason and it’s not as fun.

Edit: to make this clear, wolf/bee farming is 2x4 farming of elites by cinderbrew meadery in group finder. Also I want to stress that this will knock out your alchemist to be “support” for your other crafters. This is why I have four alchemists. So
Two are “supports”. One is flask. The other is pot.
