How can I turn off graphic and animation with herbalist spade equipt? Also, how do I un-equip the herbalist spade tool? Same for mining pick and fishing pole?
There’s a buff that gets applied when a crafting tool is equipped - “Fishing For Attention” is the one for the fishing pole, I think the skinning one is something like 'Dressed For Success" or “Dressed To Kill”. You can click those off like any other buff to unequip your crafting tool. Or you can just go fight something - entering combat will re-equip your weapon.
There’s an NPC in the main town of the first Dragonflight zone that gives you some control over how long crafting tools stay equipped but I don’t think you can completely disable the animations.

Thank you. I hope the NPC will let me disable the animation & graphic of the tools. Personally, I think the tool animation is stupid looking and breaks the game fantasy to “pick” herbs with a giant shovel. It all seems yet another change for changes sake with this expansion.
I’ve figured it out!
I go to my professions page (for me its hold alt and press letter Z). Then next to Herbalism skill press “Herbalism Journal”, which will open the journal and you can remove the Herbalist’s Spade tool from the journal and put it in your backpack. Problem solved!
You can also drag and drop the icon from the professions window onto an empty spot on your action bars. I have an action bar just for extra crap like that… professions, toys, etc.

If you do that you won’t get whatever bonuses are granted by the spade. But otherwise, yeah you can just do without one.
