Herbalism - Why so few spawns?

So, this is definitely an issue. I’m all for the “no changes” - however I literally just spent 40 minutes running around Felwood and found 1 herb. Lol it’s 6:40AM server time on a mildly populated server. How can herbs be this over farmed yet Blizz wants more more people on each server? Spawn rates really need to increase - flasks are pushing 160G right now which is outrageous

This is how it was in vanilla. It’s just that the server pops have caused the demand to skyrocket while the supply is the same. This is actually good for people herbing, as the herbs are actually worth something. In vanilla, herbalism was actually less profitable than this.

we have 1 times the resources with 10+ times the amount of players so it’s pretty easy to figure it out.

But I guess Blizzard really likes the money from people 16 boxing level 1s at every black lotus spawn.

Herbalism is basically a get rich quick scheme perpetrated by the supply and demand of commodities marketed as necessities to maintain social status.

Each server now holds more people than a traditional vanilla server. They should increase the spawn rate.

I still manage to collect all the herbs I need, it just takes dedication to picking herbs to get what you need.

Normal herbs are only occasionally over farmed on my server. Its the black lotus i literally haven’t seen in months.

Over farming because these servers are much more densely populated than Vanilla servers were.

It’s terrible. spend an hour to collect 3 plaguebloom.

Not sure who is worse at math, Blizzard or the DNC.

If you only get 3 plaguebloom an hour, that’s a completely different problem.

I’m sure there’s some overlap between the two

I don’t always go herb farming on my epic mount but when I do I don’t go to Felwood.

Un’goro… WPL/EPL, Winterspring… so much better.

The herbing traffic in the Plaguelands is like LA during rush hour on Incindeous.

Because there are too many people on a server compared to vanilla. Back in vanilla, I’d who my zone and maybe 2 people on same side in it. Now it’s more like 10-15 during slow times.

Go to Azshara, it’s got dreamfoil, mountain silversage, sungrass, and golden sansam. It’s pretty convenient to get to as horde, since it’s right next to Orgrimmar.

There are multiple 48-55+ zones in the game, so if one is camped try another.

i usually see plenty of icecap when i run around winterspring, and my server has a good number of players
its probably just your server

Just one guy could have wiped felwood in 5 mins that means literally nothing…

Many herb spawns in instance

The problem we have on Incendius is that we are a full server and they just opened transfers to our server. Oddly enough, they are all coming from your server.

You’d think a company that is now more interested in profit than making good games would know econ 101 regarding supply and demand.

You vastly increase demand by increasing population, you gotta do the same to supply.

No. He thinks the problem is other players or blizzard.

You can’t just go into a zone with only one goal. Plan to do multiple things.

For example: If I’m going to felwood I plan to get those healing plants, farm fire elementals, and get herb spawns.
